Lap pads to hold Xbox adaptable box and buttons

I got a hospital table for my partner, the kind that slots under the bed you eat your dinner on and such. Cost about $30

$5 in stick on velcro later, Good to go.

Now he just slides the table in front of him and he's ready to go

I love mine also. Tip Double press the green sync button to disable the back pads if you are going to rest it on the lounge or lap to avoid button presses you dont intend.

His condition maninfests itself as a type of palsy where his left side hand is harder for him to control and he clenches.

So...holding the traditional xbox controller is not easy.

I have the xbox adaptive controller and have bought some devices to connect to it to replicate the 4 buttons on the regular controller and two joysticks. The pad and the big buttons on the adaptive controller are a help too.

The only issue to fix now is what to do with the triggers. They are needed for games like rocket league which replicate acceleration, so the more you pull the trigger the more you go. You can't really replicate that with a button.

So I'm searching around for a pedal that will work and plug into the trigger port of the Xbox adaptive controller, but can't really find anything. there is one device on the Xbox page but it requires some other break out box.

The wired pads are up to £25 where as the receiver is only £15.

Its works just the same as the Xbox, just sync the pad to wireless receiver holding the button on the pad and the button on the wireless receiver.

Controllers can only be synced to either the xbox or wireless receiver at a time. The controller cannot be synced to both.
