Languages packages

Good morning.

I would like to ask if there is a way, for xbox 360 games that I possess and run also in my Xbox One, I can download other languages packages.

I install them and they only have the option of voices in english, however I know that they also were translated (dubbed is what I actually look for), in french. They are Hitman: absolution, and Batman arkham origins, and I have checked on internet that both were dubbed to french in X360.

- Is there a chance to download the other voices packages?

- If I manage to install them again but using a french copy of them, will then I be able to keep playing them but using my DVDs (the ones that actually are in english but not in french)?

Hello Farscape.

Yes, both games were released in the language I want now (french) for XBOX360. I searched for videos in youtube and both X360 versions, show french voices. But the PAL version I bought of them, after installing in XBOX-One are directly in english, without option to change to french inside the game's menu.

if the game does not already have the language required included for the 360 games then you would need to see if the game was release in your language in your region, if not then usually no.

For games that have an in game option to change language just locate the menu and change to your preferred language

For games that depends on external language packages, it would be best to contact the developer for information if the language packages are available for use with Xbox one retro compatibility.
