    Language to downloaded games when region is set to Singapore


    May I understand why is it that more and more games downloaded to my xbox when the region setting is set to Singapore is
    Chinese? English is the main language used in Singapore. Chinese is the mother tongue to only people whose race is Chinese. I have to set my region to UK or US before the games downloaded is in English.

    Yes, but you will need to download the day one update somewhere, and upload to the machine by USB. Just set your region to Singapore when doing the initial setup. The consoles are region free so the games will work when the system launches there, but I'm not sure if you will lose your save progress if you change region to Indonesia from Singapore once it releases.

    It's due to IP. Some games are not able to be downloaded if the gamertag is not set for the same region (country) that you physically live in.

    Is the gamertag still set for Singapore? If so do a region change to Canada and you'll have no more issues.

    Your account region has to match the physical location you're living in. Since your account is set for Australia, but you're downloading from Singapore, this is why the download is not working. For the DLC to work your account region, disc region, and actual
    region, all have to match. So you would need to create a new account with Singapore as a region, use a Singapore disc, and then you could download it.

    You can change your local settings and the region of your Xbox in the settings.

    Just go to settings / system and change it to your home market.

    (Would be language = english and country = Singapore in your case. )

    My issue was resolved。it was caused by Region Settings。When i truned the console on at the first time，i made a mistake，i chose singapore as my region，i changed to Hongkong later。But my acount was setted as singapore,the console is setted as Hongkong,the
    difference caused this issue.I migrated my account form singapore to Hongkong.Now everything seems to be normal.
