Language setting blocks Eso Online subscription.

Tried to sign up for ESO Online Plus on Dutch Xbox One with English language setting, the Xbox store goes through all the motions including the OK for CCard then stops with the message that the transaction is not possible because of the language setting.

Worked fine a few months ago when the system lanuage was set to Dutch but the kids and grandkids are English speakers and on the Xbox One the system language is used as game language (auto translation done by the same bot that translated Jananese manuals
in the 1950's en 60's.)

Eso plus

I have been charged for eso plus. It states in my subscriptions that I have eso plus that expires on 8/5/16.

When I log into my game my membership in eso plus is "Not Active".

I have contacted eso online, they said to contact xbox support.

I waited an hour for a call where xbox support then told me I have to "post my problem here" bc apparently I am a "preview customer". I'd what that means but I do know that u wasn't my *** subscription that I have been charged for.

Eso subscription

When you are in the crown store, on the bottom of the menu it will tell you what button to press to sign up for ESO Plus. I believe it is (Y).

Its because of your localization not language settings

You chose UK or us didn't you?

If so you must have a us or UK creditcard to use that localization

However games are language indepenedent

So you would only have to download the English content while.having an Dutch account and yes the game is language independent

each individual game or publisher can set it not to share etc as it is their right

At first check the location set on your XBox

Select Settings > All Settings > System > Language & Location.

Make sure everything is allright there.
