Language independence not working properly.

So language independence works fine for the Xbox itself, but the first game i launched (minecraft) was in the language of the region i'm in, not the system language i set in the settings.

I'm just wondering if it's the game's fault for pulling the wrong information, or a bug in the new feature.

Change idiom of xbox one.

For the moment the region you chose determines the language of your games so unless you move your region you can't play in english.

Yet there is good news as in the E3 xbox declared language region independence. Microsoft will enable Language Region Independence, giving gamers the ability to choose any supported language on Xbox One, regardless of their location.

So there you go. Chin up!

Remember language independence is only an xbox one feature not xbox 360

Hi, have you restarted you console after changing the language? If yes it can be the game's fault, on Call of Duty BO3 worked fine for me.

Yeah i guess Minecraft is to blame in this case for picking location and not language preference. Guess i'll keep my location set to UK instead of NL for now.
