Nah. Based on the feeds I saw the maps were far larger than any COD map I ever saw. At least 6 times larger. Maybe more. I still like large scale stuff with vehicles though. This is why I've really enjoyed the new direction BF took a few years ago. The new
BF games offers so much more than they used to in terms of variety and I love that. Conquest isn't my primary game mode and hasn't been for several years now. I like Domination the most but also like TDM, CTF and Rush too.

 

My downfall with Conquest, especially on hardcore mode, is I very much press the action but do so by pressing up the outer parameters of a map. Usually it's because I'm a recon with a spawn beacon and a carbine and am trying to get behind the enemy to plant
it so we have a strategic advantage. When playing HC mode with this many players and coupled with the fact so many like to camp, I get killed a lot. Not so in Domination. In that mode "I am the danger". My sneaky ways are good on smaller maps with fewer players.
It's why I have over 300 knife kills. Ha!

 

I was dead against this game, the live feed muliplayer did make me think oh that's cool etc... For a while I thought this actually could be great, although after 30 mins watching I feel the same - BF with Cops/Robber skins and less grand awesomeness.

I miss the RB6 series, about time. that looked cool.

 

My son and I watched Microsoft's Xbox One E3 presentation (which is available on the dashboard) last night. There are a lot of really cool looking games on the horizon! Among them is a new Tom Clancy game which looks like a cross between Splinter Cell and
GRAW.

 

The Division and Rainbow Six Siege could be pretty promising. Vegas is one of my favourite all-time multiplayer shooters and there's been nothing of that ilk for years. They're both going to be really dependent on teamwork, which will be refreshing since
every FPS is cut from the Call of Duty cloth these days.

 

Well I've played the Beta for Hardline and it isn't Call of Duty. It feels more like an add on for BF4 ( the gameplay isn't too different what you have already played to make it stand out as a new game).

 

Interesting. I plan to, at the very least, rent Hardline via gamefly. Rainbow 6 Siege does look like it could be great. Has everyone checked out the multiplayer gameplay footage which is available on the Xbox One dashboard under the E3 section? It looks
great! There are an abundance of games on the horizon that look great though.

 

I agree LOL. I could see this as a BF4 add on very easily. No way I would pay $60. And the one mode they were showing here did not do it for me. And it was not just the mode in general but I will not get into it here

 

So, played the other mode for a couple quick matches and cannot say much for it. It is not that the gameplay is that bad in terms of controls it just was not fun for me. Instead of battles all over the map it was all concentrated at this one point most
of the time. And to stay in the action you basically either had to spawn there or return there as fast as possible. The point did move some but seeing the trailer I guess I was thinking these battles may feel a little more "meaty". Instead, I wanted to
load BF4 up and play. Oh well, thought the idea sounded pretty good.

 

This idea would fit COD just great.

 

I wont be bothering with it. BF game's are the only online shooters I like. I'm not into confined shooters where you can shoot someone or get shot around every corner, the size of the maps and good mix of vehicles make BF what it is.

 

I'll probably buy Hardline since I'm a BF fan. It probably won't be my main BF game though.

 

I want Rainbow 6 and the Division, The Crew, Far Cry 4.

 

So much money to be spent this fall
