Lag!!!

Seriously i have 40 down and 5 up connection and this game is laggy, west ping is 59ms central is 65ms and i get three bars, its worst then battlefield, the lag adds so much screen tearing wish i didn't buy this game, the lag is ruining the experience

Quite honestly there can still be lag. Dedicated servers dont typically negate lag issues. However,there will
be no more host advantage and host dashboards. Your connection will determine if you lag or not.

Might be just me but has anybody been experiencing lag when browsing thru the xbox menu? especially in the marketplace, and i mean bad. sometimes it will freeze for like 4 - 5 secs. when am playing a game and all it's fine but going thru the menu is terrible. any tips on sorting this out?

 

Sell it then, if your not enjoying it sell it and buy something else.

 

I have never seen lag in Titanfall or BF3. Ever. When you say the connection "i.s worse than Battlefield" it seems there might be something on your end. Maybe modem? Maybe router? Are you SURE you have 40 down and 5 up? When was the last time you tested
that?

 

I get lag one in ten matches and its never severe.

 

I never have lag problems, and in 200 matches have only been disconnected once. So far it's much better than any other shooter I've played. My connection is "only" 20/2 and the best ping I can get is about 65 ms.

 

Titanfall and BF3 are THE most smooth running mp games I have ever played. If the op is having problems with them, then the op clearly has an issue on their end. Could be router, could be defective wire, could be modem.

 

The nice thing about the Xbone is that you can test your connection from the dashboard. Check that and let us know what it says. Mine always gives about 50 ms ping, 21 up and 2.5 down.

 

of course I meant 21 down and 2.5 up. duh

Well, then your network certainly isn't the problem. I've heard people talking about screen tear and lag but haven't experienced it myself at all really. I wish I could be more help.
