Lag while remote playing from original Xbox One to PC

Hello, I am having issues with lag while streaming my Xbox to my PC with the Xbox Console Companion app. I have both devices hard wired to my router via ethernet cable, with more than enough upload and download speed coming to both devices. While viewing the gameplay on my Xbox, displayed on my tv, it doesn't lag whatsoever, yet on the pc monitor, it is very laggy and the audio is bad. I did a stream test within the Xbox Console Companion app, and every quality option had a checkmark on it. I would also like to note that the lag isn't actually THAT noticeable until I begin to play a game. The only reason I am trying to stream my Xbox instead of just wiring it to my monitor with HDMI is just a preference of mine so I do not have to completely switch platforms to play my Xbox. Anyways, I hope that makes sense, and thanks for any help provided.

i gave up a long time ago with streaming tech, i got the same result on a wired gigabit network and got enough latency to put me off playing like that forever.

be easier to just hook your xbox up to the monitor and play.

I did find a good way of playing without latency but something i didnt want to do in the long run. i would connect as normal to the xbox through the app on pc, but i was in range to the xbox for the controller to pick up, this reduced the input latency to near the same as console.

With issues like these, normally changing the HDMI cables will fix the issue. However, since you've already done that, I would suggest connecting your console to another TV.
