Lag Switching Hacks

I know it's a pain in the butt: I'm talking about the arduous trek into the Doors of Pharros and the pvp ganking that it usually entails. I have taken my share of serious beat-downs from the combo of traps, npcs and human defenders of the covenant.
I recently joined the Rat covenant and started my tenure defending the place from would-be adventurers. For the most part, it has been fun, challenging and rewarding. UNTIL I came across several players that have made an annoying habit of exploiting some serious
lag switching techniques. Several times, after I had gotten the better of the two opponents in this example, I found them invulnerable to mine or the npcs attacks, and their ability to continually drink Estus flasks, uninterrupted by any sort of attack. At
one point, my g/f watched as my toon, one of the area Mastodons, a Grym warrior and one of the rat mobs pounded on him as he continually drank, all to ZERO effect. Immediately after, he appeared behind me and managed a backstab critical attack. I won't bother
posing the glaringly obvious D-Baggery of exploiting the game in this manner and will instead advise anyone reading this that two people in particular,
evildeadki117 and
skyrimdevil1050 are shameless hacks exploiting this lag-switch invulnerability on xbox 360 and should be reported as I have done

It's over for me. CHEATING RIFE

Aside from the MK14 I think lag is what most people call cheating.I was told that all the hacks from MW2 work on this game when it first came out but I thot they fixed that. Lag switching is still around and I see a couple of times a week.

Cheating is Cheating

^^Glitching, modding, hacking, lag switching? I havent experienced any of that in MW3, well maybe saw a glitcher on Outpost (but its patched) and Ive seen a few boosters, but definately NOTHING you listed is RAMPANT. Lag can appear to be many, many things
in a connection based game like COD. Lag probably causes 99.999% of all the WTF moments in COD. Yes, there is some hack/mod/boost/switchers, but not rampant.................../facepalm.

I can understand your issues. But sometimes the lag is seriously a bad connection, not always the other person's fault. But if they were guaranteed using unfair or cheat methods, then they deserve to be reported. I deal with a lot of bad scenarios in PvP,
but it hardly affects me. I've had a few issues with my friends in other countries, or right next door with a few issues that I was invincible, they could do no damage, but to me they were trying and failing horribly to do anything to me, and I defeated them.

You've never posted on here? But really the amount of hacking is so low. It's usually people who get beat and then blame it on someone hacking.

I mean look at how many posts the lag switching thread has. I guarantee that out of the 50+ different people that have posted in there only 1 or 2 have actually been in a game where a lag switch was used. Whenever someone encounters lag or a connection interrupted
in COD the first thing they say is LAG SWITCH!!!! but in all reality it's just someone's poor connection.

There are without a doubt hacks in the mp of BO2 but there are probably only less than 1% of people who play this game that have them. Saying someone is cheating or lag switching is more of an excuse for doing bad than someone actually doing what they're
accused of.

Hacks are over-rated, they're easy to detect and even easier to lock down. Lag switchers are more annoying, as it's not always easy to pinpoint which ones are using a lag switch, and it's so much easier to make.
