    Hello,

    I have recently put a theory together that my and other old xbox ones have been slowed down by Microsoft to get you to buy there new less laggy consoles. This is an issue I've seen ever since the launch of the series x console. If you look and actually look at when closing games you get a black screen, or you lag in games with fine ping, or you try typing and the thing doesn't keep up and lags all over the place. There are many other issues . If this question gets deleted and you've seen this and read this . You know why. Spread this around get Microsoft to answer

    complete load of [mod removed], nobody can get a new console anyway so they wouldnt do that, my xbox has been running fine, descent ping even though live is not the best platform for accessing online play though.

    Thank you for your response! As XBF Paul M has suggested, please try to adjust the mouse sensitivity in game and see if that will fix the issue. If there is still an issue, then try to

    Power cycle     the console.

    It is always best to make sure there is no lag as much as possible or network issues.

    As we all know with Fortnite, lag will make gaming a bit rough.

    Xbox one freezing

    Not sure if it's similar, but since the last update my Xbox one will freeze. It starts slow, a little lag, then if I try and turn it off it freezes. I have to unplug the console to reset it.

    Sorry to hear you're having lag issues—that's always frustrating. Does the lag happen with any other games, or is it just mostly MGSV & CoD? Do you experience the same issue if you play the games after you take your Xbox
    One console offline    ? Additionally, we recommend going through the
    slow performance troubleshooting guide     for your Xbox One console.
