    I've been having this problem for the past several months, and I'd like to know if anyone else has ever experienced it. Regardless of whether I'm playing online or offline, my character feels sluggish, I have difficulty moving around (constantly have to
    press buttons more than once), I rubber band all over the place (especially when trying to bounce) and I'm getting this oddly strong controller rumble whenever I slide onto something. I own two Xboxes and both have this problem. I've tried multiple controllers,
    I've bought a brand new GoW3, I've downloaded the game to my hard drive to see if that would make a difference, and I've tried pretty much everything else I could think of. The only thing left to try is to buy a new Xbox and see if that helps, but I want to
    be 100% sure that my Xboxes are the problem before a buy one since I can barely afford it ATM.

    So has anyone else had this problem? And if you have, what did you do to solve it?

    No. Gears 1 hit detection isn't even close to Gears 3. It's not bad most of the time, but Gears 3 is much better even on most p2p connections. Gears 1 hit detection is totally dependent on the host and that causes problems from time to time.

    Yes this is accurate ...I love GOW 1,but if GOW3 retail plays like the beta (smoothness and lag free) it will become the new standard for 3rd persons IMO

    Have you tried a different TV?

    Some TV`s can give the impression of lag when using certain picture enhancements, things like dynamic contrasts or HD simulators etc.

    gears of war Have small problems Here is 1 when player tryn change gun not changing gun 2 when your player try to run the player more run then u pushet 3 i.m play by co-op when hosting player tryn skip some cut scene both suffering small lag

    gears of war 2 i;m play horde is good no problems but in trainig grounds some misiosion suffering small frame drops issues

    Dirt 3 Single player and multiplayer suffering small frame drops lag

    Perfect Dark Zero in single misisin suffering small frame drops

    I hope with future updates ms will fix all that problems :)

    I have the same issue. I hadn't noticed it when it started but, I was playing gears of war 3 and got offline. Soon after I got back on and joined a party and had the same problem since although it.s more annoying than a problem.

    Epic says 360 is not yet maxed out.

    Remember when Epic said that Gears of War 2 wouldn't have any lag, and people wouldn't experience the problems they did in Gears of War 1, and that it would be gone in Gears 2, they say alot of things.

    i test the connection from time to time, i just recently tested it and right its three bars but everything else is fine even with the update new update i still lag. By the way so far this is the only game i have lag issues with i played gears of war 3 and
    mass effect 3 and i never lagged from there.
