Lag After August Update ,

Hello ,

re-posting my Topic , its more than a month now and i didn't turn on my new xbox one S because im waiting for the update that fixes the lag issue that every one is talking about ,

PLEASE MICROSOFT , resolve this now we want to play normally !!

Xbox Live Constant Packet Loss Issues

Just tried that, still having the same issues. I noticed that after the August update that these problems started happening. Would there be any correlation between lag and an update?

 

After August Update consistent lag every 10 seconds or so?

We are 5 for 5 on Xbox One Consoles after the August update developing a weird lag that will freeze the screen for a split second and then go back to normal & sometimes semi choppy game play.

Xbox One #1, #2 and #3 updated on the 19th of August and saw the lag in Black Ops 3 immediately. Xbox One #4 didn't update on the 19th and gameplay was flawless, absolutely no symptoms. Xbox One #4 updated to the patch on August 22nd, rebooted the console,
and then immediately saw the lag in Black Ops 3 and Forza, the same exact symptoms as Xbox One #1-3. Went upstairs and tested on Xbox One #5, saw the same results as Xbox One #4, no issues prior to update, then immediately after Minecraft and Roblox had this
weird split second freeze.

What's the deal? Is anyone else experiencing this problem? We are 5 for 5 here, in different locations with same results.

 

Microsoft please don't keep on doing these updates if they are only going to break the console performance. Roll us back to the previous update. I have given you the information you needed to investigate this problem in another topic(I own an original Xbox1)
but you need to roll everyone back. It was working fine before. Now you just keep on with these pointless "Time to update, Time to update, Time to update" Why ?

This issue has gone on for too long and nothing is being done.

Roll us back and have done with it. If you cant release updates that actualy work, then I should look to other console manufacturers instead. Not happy

 

The simple updates are the 360 games with the backwards compatible , but im talking about the august update when they did some real changing , and every one notice the Lag issue , dude im really sad after buying the new xbox one s for stronger and better
gaming experience i find this lag , i really want to play sooo badly its 2 months now and nothing from microsoft every time they say to do power cycle ...etc but nothing works because its the update please help us guys we want to play our consoles !!!!!!!!!!!

 

there are so many complaints about this problem, why dont they simply say "we acknowledge there is an issue and we working on it" just to let us know thy are not ignoring the problem.

come on, it's been a problem for far too long now, having to reset my console every 2-3 hours is just a pain in the ***, especially on some long haul games with friends.

stop giving the usual generic power down for 10 seconds, ect stuff because it WILL NOT WORK, it only stops it for 2-3 hours, its not a fix, because if it did fix it it would cease to happen again.

 

Exaaaaactlyyyy AzzTheStickman thats what im trying to say they should simply say they are working on it so we can rest and take it off our minds !!!

more information will help. hardware lag can be brought on by lack of memory or a feature using the memory. Assuming the August update was the Cortana update do you all have Cortana enabled? Are you all using the external hard drive to house the games and
apps you have? how much internal memory do you have if you do not use an external memory source?

 

I had Cortana disabled and about 40% left on Hard drive.

 

Bro , Don't say some stupid things , i only have 1 game on the console and its 2tb storage so don't say some stupid things about cortana and things -_-

 

before the upgrade of 23 September everything was fine, then the cause is the update of 23 !!!! it does not take a genius to figure it out !!! I have all the games that go for the shots in offline !!!!! AS WE HAVE TO WAIT AGAIN ???

As Deathspankd stated, more information will help. What seems to be lagging? Is it on a multiplayer game? Is it the dashboard? Are you in the Xbox One preview program? We'll need more details to look into this closer.

How much more information does Microsoft need from people. I don't want these silly updates that I am forced to do if I want to stay connected to the internet. This is going on long enough. Why cant you just roll us back to the previous version. My games
are unplayable and this cosole is so broken.

It happens on all game in varying degrees.

Happens offline or online, connected or not connected to the internet.

Sometimes the game has severe lag, other games will have delayed controller input.

This problem should not take this long to sort out.
