Lack of voice chat options needs a fix soon

As the updates continue to roll out I continue to become more frustrated on how not a single word has been spoken of voice chat options lacking. Some to many of you won't find this a big deal (Which is why Microsoft never does anything about since I throw
it at their face every few weeks.) Basically on Xbox 360 their was options like this

    Voice Output

    Play voices through:

    Headset only

    Speakers only

Headset and Speakers <- Main one I look for.

Plus allowing when friends speak through the speakers Game audio automatically goes down (Which was on xbox one for a bit then removed?)

also still no option to send voice messages...

It was originally shown on their support page for voice chat options on playing through speakers and headset but as soon as I noticed it was not existent they took it down from the page. Since then I wonder why it's not here yet? Even when New headsets
    are released.

I needed this feature so I could record my friends voices through my T.V. speakers but since xbox one has nothing like this I am forced to use my kinect. There is not enough concern for this feature it seems for Microsoft to do anything about it, and which
was why I quit out of the update preview registration.

Does anyone else want this? Or have any more they wish to add to what they should do for voice chat?

    :)

  2. Skype Chat While in a Game

I have managed to figure out a temporary fix to do in the mean time while we wait for this to be fixed (if it ever will be). You can either set your privacy settings in the Xbox privacy settings to allow friend voice chat only, or in some games such as Battlefield
4 there is an option to turn off VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) which should stop in game voice chat, although I have not tested it out yet.

Hope it gets a proper fix soon, but until then these should probably work.

  3. Voice Chat Options

On the Xbox 360, you had the option to make voice communications come through your speakers, headset, or both. This was extremely useful for me, because I like to record gameplay of me and my friends, and having their voices come through game chat made everything
    a lot easier.

So, it was to my disappointment that I could not find a way to make voice chat come through both the speakers and my headset on the Xbox One.

Is there a way to do this? If so, please explain. I could not find it.

But... the update preview program was the biggest chance you had to change this feature. Bit of a stupid decision. "I want to change how the government is run. Therefore, I will quit my job as a minister."

I mainly stopped because everytime I asked for this nothing was brought up. And I tried enough, so I just felt it was not going to happen unless others took this concern than just ME

Plus I didn't like the idea of not being able to be in chat with friends with the update preview so I kinda didn't want to chance that when I do recordings. Making me NOT a person to want to continue with it even with the benefits.

Yes I would like it for the same reasons, but I would not have quit but stayed and badgered the hell out of the preview forums.

"badgered" yes I did and more, but I also DID NOT want to risk another "You can't play/chat with your friends" scenario get me? I made my right choice so I chose to be more of a speaker not a minister.

That was only for one phase of update wasn't it? When they first did Default to chat on?

  12. As nice as it would be to have, as long as your friend is online, you can just use party chat.

  14. I would settle for basic chat functions in all games at this point. It's barely functional in a lot of games.

  15. I agree with Dangerboy - I hate how limiting it is in some games. For example, in Titanfall, I'm forced to use a headset to communicate with people (unless I'm already in a party), which is terrible because I can't hear people through the headset as well
as I can through my audio setup using the Kinect sensor. Also, in Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, I can't seem to hear other players at all (unless I'm again, in a party). I can see them talking with the in-game audio icons, but can't hear them at all and
don't understand why. I posted about this latter issue in that game's sub-forum, but if you know why it does that, I'd like to know. Lack of voice chat options needs a fix soon ;)
