  1. Lack of privacy options

I'm getting really sick and tired of Xbox Live privacy options. Something needs to be done about this. I'm in my thirties so it's not socially acceptable for me to play video games. Now when I try to play Destiny and set my options to offline mode. My
woman can still go on to Xbox live website and see when and exactly how long I played which in turn enables me for a terrible night on the couch with no kitty. I am demanding as a 13 year old Xbox costumer that something be done about this. If I turn "offline
mode" option on my console then your website needs to reflect that as well. No halfa$$ed BS about hiding game history. OFFLINE MDDE MEANS OFFLINE MODE!!!!! FIX THIS NOW!!!!!!

    :)

  2. Family privacy options?

Okay so i'm almost 20 years old but i still have family options enabled, it is not letting me play some games e.g. "privacy & online settings for some players on this console may be affect everyone's communication and multiplayer gameplay on this console"

In minecraft it says "failed to create an online game as one or more players are not allowed to play multiplayer games on xbox live"

my current privacy setting is on "custom" i want to switch it to adult, however i no longer know the password for the "parent" acount to allow me to change the option

does anyone know what i can do?

IamLuke, basically what you have is a Windows Live account that you need to have the password to. This means anything having to do with this would be through Wndows live customer support. Unforuntately, Xbox live customer support can't help you with changing
the information, and the only way that they could see the parental Windows Live account is if you had an Xbox Live account associated with it. Here is the link to retrieve the information for a Windows Live account below. Good luck!

SkinPoppeR, there may be something that you can do to achieve what you're looking for! If you go to xbox.com, sign into your profile, and then go to your privacy settings. From there you have the option to completely block any shareable information from
anyone trying to view your profile whether it be on the xbox itself, or online on the website. The only downside to this, is that if you play with friends they would have a hard time seeing what you're up to and connecting with you...But if all you're looking
for is to hide how long you've been playing from your women, then this may be the fix for you! Hope everything works out well and no more nights on the couch! Lack of privacy options ;)

    Family privacy options?

Hi there. If you set the correct age to your account when creating it then you should now be able to remove the Parental controls completely. Simply go to Account Management on your console dashboard, from here you should see an option to promote your account
to adult status, once this is complete the parental settings will be removed.

This option will only appear when an account reaches the age of 18+, so if you cannot see it then you clearly did not set the correct age of your account or you're simply not over 18. ;)

[/quote]Well I am a little confused by this. Your privacy is set to custom which in turn means every single gamertag on there has the ability to have different restrictions or no restrictions at all. Also what is curious is that you forget the password.
Please do not get offended because I am not accusing you of anything, but when usually you set up parental controls on a system, the password is not something you would forget.

Yes there is something you can do but for all I know I am talking to a 13 year old. So what you can do is call customer support with as much information as you can remember. (Which you have to know the info to your own gamertag and windows live id). They
will be able to confirm that you are who you say you are and they will tell you what to do. I don't know where you are from so here is a link to all the

    customer support numbers

Do you consider xbox ecosystem safe?

All the security and privacy settings are well in place. If the user does not apply them, then the lack of "safe" is on the user.
