    Lack Of Local Multiplayer / Split Screen Games


    Hi all,

    Not sure if this is the right place to post but....

    Does anyone know if they are going to start releasing more Local Multiplayer / Split Screen games? There seems to be a distinct lack of this type on the new generation consoles and it seems as if the developers are encouraging less face/face social behavior
    and more sitting in a room by yourself playing (which in my opinion is far less social). Whilst there are benefits of online gaming, I (& my friends) like to play in groups, rather than each be sat in our own home playing over the internet. I'm sure we're
    not alone; does anyone else know of future releases, or are is it accepted that Local Multiplayer / Split Screen gaming is a thing of the past?

    Info on games / general thoughts please...

    Dual Screens

    Hi there, just curious will Xbox One support dual screen for local multiplayer games instead of the current split screen? Or is it currently work in progress?

    Split Screen/Local Multiplayer

    I must admit, I am not a fan of split screen either, or local co-op, I'd rather online multiplayer or LAN rather than split screen.

    Having said that, I actually prefer single player games nowerdays.

    Hi,you would need to look in the multiplayer options in each game for Local multiplayer/ split screen. I know for sure Halo 5 has no split screen option though. Call of duty may depending on which game in the series it is.
