OP. To make the next one. It need 100% returned it investment. If the game dose not repaid the development cost the developer bank account. There will be no next one. That true on other types of games ever made in video game history. You think it cost the
developer under a mill. Try a billion if you want to make a multiplat triple A title. This incluedion promotion cost to get people know about it.

No one specifically came looking around the forums with their sole purpose being to fight and argue with you like you just stated. People come to the forums for many things but they all usually center around the fact that we just want to talk and discuss
everything Xbox.

Do you realize how hypocritical it is for you to basically say we're here because we don't have life's.? Well you're the one who created this thread and you seem to be able to check it quite frequently going by how quickly you respond. You also seem to have
a very good amount of time to make some really massive posts.

3. Where to spend your money OP?

Dont rightely know but if I was you I would not go into, nor put your parents others in debt just for next gen gaming. If you have money out the wazoo. Fine. If not, save up and remember to do your research.

If a console is what you want, then purchase one with games, either available now, or soon coming that you like to play. For apart from the exclusive games. Everything else is... Well, I dont own a next gen console but have played on em, and I would say.
Almost the same.

Lack of games on xbox one

So, after all this time today I read that Xbox listened a little and even though what I wanted to hear is not going to happen, (making newer versions of ww2 shooters with the new graphics and all) I am still glad to find that they announced the following
statement, "The Xbox One is also now backwards compatible, meaning it will play games from its predecessor, the Xbox 360"

So that makes me feel much better about the whole situation.

I had lost all faith and was *** that I sold all my games and console thinking the xbox one would continue with the games that made it great, and when I found out that was not going to happen after I sold my nearly perfect setup and collection of games for
me, at least now, yes I have to re buy games I already owned and sold for cheap again, but, at least I can now get a new console, play my games on it and also enjoy whatever new comes along that might interest me, even though to date, not one single game has
appealed to me even a little and I have not played a game since this time last year when I sold my set up in preparation for a new console.

'So to you fools who called me a troll and though I only came to stir up drama, laughs on you, as I said I have always been a supporter and fan of the xbox and its games, I was just so mad at the changes and that I acted fast and sold off my stuff thinking
it would be ok, set me back and caused me to lose a little faith in the company.

Anyway I am now excited to think about a new set up and now since they have been out I suppose I can get a revised, updated latest edition to.

Finally, glad I waited before I just made a change.

Now O just have to find the used games I want to play again and grab a console after doing some reading, it wil

l be nice to be back.

Resurrected!

Not sure how backward compatibility for select titles even at the One's launch would have solved your problem of having prematurely sold your 360, and your favourite games "in preparation for a new console". Ya sold up even after they'd announced they would
be supporting the 360 into the foreseeable future, and announced the One's launch titles...

... all this time without games, y'know, you can pretty much find 360's on street corners looking for caring homes? They're
soopa cheep d00d. Many model variants litter the planet's surface. I have an old 60Gb Arcade in a box somewhere you could have for free. I'm still not connecting the logic you're grasping at - of your stupidity in selling your stuff, and then,
weirdly, Microsoft being to blame for it. lol

But anyway, dude. I'm happy for you... truly! Welcome back to the gaming universe! {=D

** To avoid more long-post fighting let's just pretend I only said the thing in bold. =)

Never owned a ps anything and never will, you are so stupid that you think anyone who is not praising xbox iss a troll or for ps, your a paranoid slow minded fool, and this is why the whole situation got worse, with fools like you who just judge and label
people because you fear anyone being against your favorite stuff, ***, I am not or never was a troll I had a real concern and was really ***, the backwards compatibility changed that for me and so I came on to say so, stop hating and being tough behind your
keyboard you pre pubescent child. try going outside or just leave people alone, I didnt bother with you or your stupidity I had a valid point, and now it has been addressed even though not fully still better than what it was. I am glad I can now think about
buying a one, I wouldnt go back to a 360 out of principle, so it was this or nothing, they could have released better games or made them backwards compatible which they did, no thanks to you and a few others who are so blind, all they can do is put down people
and make stupid blanket statements.Xbox doesnt need bullys like you, nobody does, live and let live, when someone has a legit issues, instead of making them feel bad or trying to label them a troll because they have a complaint and not praise isnt an invite
for you to pile on and mess up their post with your BS.

The second biggest problem is you young bored online every minute waste of life fan boys who feel threatened by anyone with any other opinion than your own. Get out of your parents basement and try living life on your own and dealing with real issues, see
how your attitude helps you in life, lol good luck you poor SOB.

BigDrunk Smuf, How so man?

And here is the article criticising the xbox, you going to call Phile SPencer a troll too? Dumb ***.

Before launching the console in November 2013, Microsoft faced heavy criticism for shifting away from game playing and toward television, with a large focus on cable box integration and other media capabilities. It didn't help when the company attempted
to impose new restrictions on how players connected the console to the Internet, requiring a sign-on once a day to play games, and limiting how people could lend games to a friend or sell them back to a retailer. Many of those policies were nixed leading up
to the launch.

Microsoft has spent the time since rebuilding the Xbox's image under the leadership of Phil Spencer, the former head of Microsoft's in-house game production team. Spencer shifted the Xbox division back to more serious game playing, even as he made tough
decisions about the platform itself, such as making the Kinect motion camera a separate accessory. He's also been candid in outlining where the Xbox One has needed to improve -- including such as making it easier for developers to create games -- and where
the company had strayed from its mission.

It's been quite the turnaround. After Sony's PlayStation 4 handily beat the Xbox One in US retail sales for more than 12 straight months, Microsoft managed to inch ahead in December 2014 thanks to a $50 price cut that put the console at $350. That effort
has paid off: Sales of Xbox hardware in May were up 81 percent from the same time a year ago, according to market researcher NPD Group.

If you've been waiting to upgrade from an Xbox 360, now is the time.

lumper123, labeling people "kids" automatically makes you irrelevant and a ignorant troll, not everyone that is trolling are 10 year olds, like for example, I'm 16 years old (about to be 17 in August), now stop whining and go play your Xbox 360, Xbox One
or whatever.

Now excuse me, I got some Halo MCC to play.

BizarroMantis, I've already been banned enough from Xbox Forums, plus I'm tired of people labeling people little kids just because they're were expressing their thoughts & opinions. Now you're starting to call me a 10 year old just because I thought the
guy that made this post is a PlayStation fanboy.

He didn't want to argue to the death, I get that, and he did apologise for his initial gaff. Kudos indeed.

But even after that, and being told the whys of his franchises not being available he continued to blame the system manufacturer, holding onto his ideas of ill-preparation for the console, what the console was made to do instead of play the games he wanted,
and then, paraphrased, "I may wrong thinking this way but why are you trying to stop me in the General Discussion?"

Because you're still posting those thoughts. It's a public forum. You can't apologise in one post and in another go back to saying what you were saying anyway that was wrong initially like nothing happened and somebody doesn't get it. Heh ha.
As soon as the hardware is available I wish they would just start with the staples, the franchises that have endured, Madden, MLB, Fight night, etc..

As I explained it is not the literal quantity of games that have been released, it is the number of existing franchises games from xbox 360 like MLB baseball or Fight night boxing that have not been continued and are not yet out, after all
this time as popular as they are why are they still not out, anyway please dont answer me, I already know the answer, I am just responding the the post that there are many games out, that individual did not rad the thread, only the title and decided to arbitrarily
comment.

Everytime you try to explain anything you show you just dont get it.

I just thought, hey a simple franchise that has been around a while, and knows there is a new console coming out, I would expect that they get ready and start developing their software to work with the new hardware so they can offer the game as soon after
its release as possible for the most sales opportunities.

the xbox one is nothing more than a new console to add the kinect technology more, not really to advance the games franchises and graphics as much as I had personally expected and grow to expect from any generations of consoles having been
released over my lifetime.
They're all from each post of his, his apology comes and goes, but he doesn't concede...

Baseball games don't sell well. The big league has licensing issues/costs on the Xbox platform. Next-gen development costs for a franchise with a track record of poor sales won't be on a publishers to-do list. Because next-gen development costs are huuuuuuuge! The
franchise has been absent for two-years, it stopped being a thing before Xbox One became a thing.

Boxing licenses cost money. The publisher, EA, is concentrating on another fighting sport with more dynamic rosters, more fights every year, and ever changing divisions and champions and new stars coming in.

WWII CoD and Battlefield-style shooters weren't a thing by the end of the last life-cycle, so they won't be a thing early in the new life-cycle... so...

"No no no when you try to explain you look stupid! The console wasn't built to play the popular franchises, it was for kinect features! No don't list popular franchises I'm not interested in those, you don't get it... I just want boxing, baseball, and
WWII. It may be wrong of me to think this way but they're my thoughts... and this is General...blah dee blah"

It looks like lumper123 just got a bit worked up, which is understandable, and overreacted. He posted out of anger and since apologized. You'd be amazed at how many people will argue to the death even though they know they're entirely wrong.

Kudos to you lumper.
