Lack of games on xbox one

Your deciding I am a noob and a troll is your problem, I was honest in my post, yes I had to add a stupid 123 but this was after hours of going over this account stuff that I had forgotten since I hadnt logged in in over a year and dont have my console to
log into in front of me, sorry I am not perfect like you and happy with anything stamped xbox, I have real opinions and feelings and sometimes I like to express them.

I dont care that you think these things of me, it only bothers me that you would take the time to read through it and then still only have flaming and name calling to do, you are the troll.

The forum community is for many things including expressing your feelings in the general discussion threads, if you disagree then leave me alone and go back to your wonderful life and perfect world.

I made my own mistakes and I am owed nothing, I know that, I never should have assumed anything, or had faith that Microsoft would deliver, I should have just waited and made sure, my mistake.

I have been gaming since the 1970's I have had my xbox 360 for 5 or 6 years before I sold it.

My frustration was met with no where to post to microsoft, so just imagine how mad I had to be, to go through all this setting up an account, realizing I had an account and didnt need a second account, (again my fault, it had been so long I forgot I used
a different email to set up my original account) all this to say this sucks, lol and you look for it to make sense? or be laid our perfectly? I was frothing when I wrote it, most of it at lightening speed with mistakes laid in and left,. I didnt care, I just
    had to get it out.

I am not as angry now, more tired from it and over it.

I get it, I messed up and I have choices to make, get another 360 and continue to play the games I like on my new 70" 4kultra tv, or buy an alienware gaming rig for 2k$ and go back to pc gaming, which also has all the games I Want to play in far greater
resolutions and frame rates than xbox ever dreamed of, I only stopped pc gaming because at the time it made sense to buy a console and be able to play compared to the cost of a decent gaming rig.

To be honest I would only play once in a while anyway now that I have gone so long without playing, it is only on really boring long days I even remember I had a system and then think man I wish I could play a game right now, then I look at the ads and get
    mad all over again.

It still irritates me, that halo has a new game for xbox one but not baseball, thats good planning by whoever has to figure this stuff out, by now I think they know we like the sports games so why should it take over a year to get them ?

Anyway I am not a troll, I dont hate xbox, I love it, I am mad I cant play one right now because I sold mine expecting the new console to have at least one single game to play while I wait for the others and it did not.

Like I Said if your happy with yours why are you reading this? go play a game, I wish I could.

    Matt

    :)

  3. Lack of Indy Games On Xbox One? Please...

Two due in March (Roundabout (X1 and PC) and Super Time Force (360, X1 and PC), both MS exclusive. I personally will be picking both up, especially Roundabout. Whoever thought that up deserves a medal.

And yes, it's bloody 1080p. Not that I really care, but it's nice to crunch numbers when they finally come your way.

Lack of games on xbox one

By the way I did send a similar email and posted in the forums at Activision, EA sports, and a few others.

I cant believe EA sports cant see a new console is coming and arent ready for it.

As soon as the hardware is available I wish they would just start with the staples, the franchises that have endured, Madden, MLB, Fight night, etc.. I dont need a new fantasy sci fi thriller, just yet, maybe later, I cant wait for that, what I Want out
of the gate, are my favorite games in the new graphics engine and new AI and new sound and all the things that go into the new console so when I abandon all my games and my old console and buy your new product I have some games to play day 1.

I want to compare what I know from the last release to what the new release have, he improvements, the better physics, etc.. and I am frustrated that we like sheep just go along with this crap and allow them to keep repeating this stuff, we pay for this
whole industry, the thousands and thousands of dollars I have spent on gaming is ridiculous over the years, why am I always the bad guy? I am sick of having to get mad and ask this stuff it should be taken care of already.

But I digress, enough, just saying I am ***, not a troll, there is a difference, a troll would never jump through the hoops I have been through today knowing full well it wont help anything, thats not a troll, thats a *** off gamer.

    Uh-huh. Sure. Here's my advice:

Buy a thing that plays games you like to play. If you regret your purchase. Blame yourself and the choice you made.

Just FYI, baseball games don't sell well and 2K destroyed their reputation on Xbox last-gen by releasing first-rate crud. WWII shooters saturated the market last-gen, and stopped selling well. When CoD became Modern Warfare... the franchise broke every record
known to gamer-kind. You would know this if... you knew this. That you didn't know this means... you should...

... get a clue. Just generally, about anything you're talking about... anything at all.

Enjoy your TV, and be sure to mention it again if you respond to this. {=D

PS: The Xbox One was launched in 2013.

Backlogs being a thing so early in a console life-cycle is pretty cool. For funsies. Pew pew pew. Here's some stuff for people visiting this thread after clicking the misleading exaggeration in the title, and subsequent posts from the OP, who incidentally
had already visited EA, Activision and 2K's forums before I mentioned them, lol, and for the reason I mentioned... super cool:

    ----------

Number of X1 games currently available and coming soon...

    Exclusive [third-party developers] = 37

    Microsoft exclusive = 15

Console exclusive or timed = 30/8

    Multiplatform/TBA = 255/5

Playable = 173 available to purchase

    Total = 351 games.

That's... 351. No games, see. 14 of them were given away free with GWG.

    source: Wikipedia

    ----------

Numbers of apps is around 50 Apps. But remember, there is a lack of content...

Fun Fact 1: EA Games/EA Sports hasn't held the MLB license for 11 years. This sport in video games was not a hit on the last cycle of consoles, it won't be in this one, and interest in PS's The Show is slipping every year --, and publishers
are lucky to reap development costs back in sales. This is why video-games like Cricket and Rugby are priced so absurdly high and are usually tatt. They suffer from the Baseball level of gamer interest.

In the Megadrive/SNES days dev costs for these games were the equivalent of a fart in a video-game case. These days they're a risk to publishers.

Fun Fact 2: The X1 had 21 games available in its launch window, including Madden and FIFA for sports titles. BF4, and Ghosts for shooters. Dead Rising 3 and Black Flag for that action/adventure genre. Obviously all of the launch titles were
in development long before the console launched... and at no time did Xbox include WWII games, baseball games, or boxing games in the marketing leading up to launch. Anyone selling their 360 around this time thinking they'd be getting specific modern versions
of games they happened to have played in a gaming foray and alleged pedigree dating back to the 70s... is a little tartarded.

    It should be a word.

Fun Fact 3: Sniper Elite 3 is a WWII title on Xbox one

Fun Fact 4: The best description of video games can be found in
    this video here.

Fun Fact 5: All right I don't have a Fun Fact 5. I'm going home and I'm taking my ball with me. {=P

  8. Lack of games on xbox one

I haven't touched my Xbox One in 2 months... I think that I bought mine at a bad time, should've waited. The titles out there currently just aren't what I want.

I need some compelling titles to come soon.

I think I got so upset because of my own expectations and they may have been unrealistic and so I was disappointed and it came to a boiling point.

I am sure in time the games will continue to come, and in the end will probably work out.

I didnt mean to be so negative I was just very upset that I painted myself into a corner in an all or nothing bid for my gaming and it was a mistake, I should have waited, I would still be enjoying my favorites and on a 4k ultra tv @ 60hz I bet the experience
would be almost all new anyway, since I didnt wait, we will never know, I am not going to bother with going backwards since I would have to buy the games and all so, I did it to myself, I will just wait to see if eventually they release enough games to compell
    me to buy one.

If I offended anyone personally I do apologise.

I'll begin by saying that the Xbox exclusives has a lack in comparison in comparison to it's competition. Though that doesn't seem to be a concern in your first post. When it comes to games like Call of Duty, they didn't abndon the franchise. They updated
it and improved it to target a wider demographic. Although I love the WWII games that era was beat to death and gamers were exhausted fighting a battle over and over again that we all know the outcome of. With America "at war" with the middle-east and all
of us hearing about events and things the enemies were doing, gamers really wanted to play out those scenarios. Though the series lacks the elements that you enjoyed it does not mean the franchise was abandoned.

If you're looking for a fun WWII shooter for your Xbox One I would recommend Wolfenstein. It's WWII with a few different concepts.

Another important point, it seems you stick to a strict limit in terms of which sort of games you play. I sincerely recommend reaching out a bit and test driving a few different options. If I had never done that I wouldn't have ever played several of my
favorite games. If you're worried about wasting money then go to Gamestop and buy them used. GameStop has a one week return policy on any used game. If you don't like the game, take it back for a full refund.

I would buy a new console tomorrow if either of those were available

    [/quote]

Since you're willing to pay full price for a brand new console for one single game then money must not be an issue so why not just get the PS4 and be done with it? It has the exclusive right to the MLB baseball games and it's clear you don't have much love
    for Microsoft.

CoD is constantly updated and improved??? loool April Fools you got me there as i almost thought you were serious because in reality they don't hold a candle to previous CoD games like 2 or 3 which had vehicles but they def make them more user friendly for
    everyone.

Xbox exclusives lack compared to what? Baseball? lol In a couple years i might agree but now at this time heck no..The order has been the only one i have liked so far until Naughty Dog starts whooping tail again and GoW.

Iowned 46 games. 2 of them in my backlog. I played 47 games in total. How I get close to 50 games if there was no games to played. Baseball is puttey much dead in video games. Used to be big in the SNES/GENISES days. What still big now as it then is football.
What big in shooter now is sic-fi and mondren wars shooters. What matuered this gen are the racing sims. Sinces the console are powerful enought to simulated weather. So surpect weather in FORZA 6 and GT7. Another type of game can matuered if the developers
get there heads out there butts is the WWE games. You can do everything. And depends what you do or say. The craowed can boo you or cheer you. And the annouesers can haved the same repound as the fans dose in the game. But we know that will not happen until
2K do it themselfs. But that big if. If you wanted those games that you said. You should keep the 360 and played those games.

As I explained it is not the literal quantity of games that have been released, it is the number of existing franchises games from xbox 360 like MLB baseball or Fight night boxing that have not been continued and are not yet out, after all this time as popular
as they are why are they still not out, anyway please dont answer me, I already know the answer, I am just responding the the post that there are many games out, that individual did not rad the thread, only the title and decided to arbitrarily comment.
