    Lack of digital games


    Anyone else finding it difficult to find and pre-order digital versions of games? Cannot find digital UK versions of CoD:AW and Destiny. I don't want discs and cases clogging up my space. I'm not going to be trading either game in so a disc is pointless,
    it just means I have to get off my fat *** to play a different game. This is also a whinge at the realisation that I have gotten too used to Steam/Origin.

    Xbox one: disc vs digital download.

    Digital is available on every games console with an internet connection. Just the same as PC.

    The reason they aren't inline with PC is the lack of competition on the platform digital storefront.

    Destiny Thoughts So Far...

    My biggest Digital game regret and I didnt even pay for the game. Excellent gameplay very poor everything else. Lack of content, to much grinding for little reward, lack of content, only 3 player co-op, lack of content, no real reason for the game being
    always online, lack of content, terribly unbalanced MP and did I mention lack of content?

    I quit playing after me and a friend did 5 strike missions one day, and they were all the exact same strike. Bungie *** up, or Activision did. Whoever is at fault it doesn't matter to me as Destiny 2 wont ever be downloaded to my console even if its free.

    I think they don't really do pre-orders for digital since you can purchase and download them digitally day one and they don't do pre-installs.

    Im thinking the exact same thing, digital games are infinite! Let us have what Sony are already giving PS4 players with pre-loading where it downloads for you when its available! Microsoft US store lets you preorder COD:AW (disc) but the UK store doesn't?!?

    Im thinking the exact same thing, digital games are infinite! Let us have what Sony are already giving PS4 players with pre-loading where it downloads for you when its available! Microsoft US store lets you preorder COD:AW (disc) but the UK store doesn't?!?

    It should work normally! the only difference of the All Digital version is the lack of a disk drive. all digital games should work 100% fine.

    The back of the Xbox One games lacking Dolby Digital Logo is also not there for digital purchases under games also. The Xbox 360 always gave the resolution and Dolby Logos both for physical and digital content. I think this is an issue that needs to be escalated
    in support.

    If digital was more prevalent the prices would fall, the sooner they come inline with PC games the better IMO.
