Lack of Dedicated servers....

So i do not get why people haven't taken a play from how Titanfall did the MP dynamic servers that can spin up and shut down as needed and does away with host advantage for the most part and gives everyone a level playing field. With CoD being a big thing
to MS you would think they would get Activision to use its dedicated servers instead of the peer-to-peer crap that is happening now. Every game i was in last night the high KD people had the worst lag....Wont buy another CoD again and once they turn on the
digital trade in this one is gone.

Lag is your own connection as well as lack of dedicated servers.

Crap game, lack of dedicated servers, dreadful hosting and player matchmaking. What do you expect from this?

 

I know, it blows they're still using the p2p rubbish.

After hating BOps2 and wasn't that keen on Ghosts, I actually really like this game so far.

The only thing ruining it for me is the lag comp.

 

wish i could even get online to complain...keep getting severs unavilable ***.

 

"service not available at this time" just once i would like for someone to be READY FOR THE LAUNCH THAT YOU KNOW IS GOING TO BE HUGE!

In today's age of internet I find it hard to believe that it's still needed.

Give me an In-Game option to play without lag comp for crying out loud!

I know when it decides to f*ck me too.

I shoot someone, think I have them for sure, I drop, they don't... quick flick over to the score board to find my ping is on one red dot before going back up to full connection a second later.

Being punished for having a good, fast internet connection is just plain pathetic.

The system they use was designed for dial up connections and they have been a thing of the past for over a decade now.

 

Same CoD, but with a different bow wrapped around it. I'll pick this game up, but only when the price drops and only for the campaign. Even the Veteran difficulty has become a bit of a joke lately, but I still find them rather entertaining. The last truly
difficult, challenging and memorable Veteran campaign was World at War imo, but I digress. If they would just level the internet playing field so that the game would allow everyone to be competitive rather than a certain few, I'd consider playing it for MP
again. Until then, I'll get my MP fix from a much better BF4.

 

oh wait.. With Xbone we get 300,000 servers to support all dedicated gaming.

uh, maybe not! Tricked again.. dang it!

 

hows that new COD treating everyone. same old game to bad. even with all it's problems BF4 is still where it's at.

 

Same issue ..people appearing out of nowhere....ducking out of the room only to be rubber banded back in and killed. 30Mbps internet is more than enough bandwidth...

 

Ya I'm working with a hardwired Google Fiber connection... 900+ up & down and there is still some serious issues with this game. Played every COD since MW and they seem to just get worse and worse in terms of connections.

Will try WiFi connection tonight to see if I can get the lag comp in my favor.

 

Yea I may set up the QoS to throttle the xbox bandwidth down to 56k dialup. Maybe some of the "hackers" are lag switching to intentionally introduce lag so they can feel good about themselves I specifically hardwired to my router to eliminate lag...guess
some will do anything to cheat than actually improve their skill.
