    Trying to find out xboxlive public ip address andIi was repeatedly told I can not have that info so i can ping it from my connection outside of Xbox live to get true results and try to resolve my connection issues. Then I was told to contact my internet
    provider to resolve the issue. Laptop side by side with my xbox is getting 75 down,12 up, xbox one 2-5 down with 12 up. I'm an IT field person and I would like to think I know how to troubleshoot my own set up and interenet provider. But, apparently Xbox help
    agent I spoke thinks I'm a morom, and tried to hang up on me. I accepted the agent didn't have the info I was looking for then she refused to even say someone beyond her knowledge could help me. I refuse to believe no one at Xbox can help me find simple info
    so I can ping their server for a true accurate side by side ping test with my laptop. Shamful customer sevice. Really disapointed with your robotic script reading techs microsoft. Get me some help! I'm a cutomer and deserve to be treated like one.

    Microsoft Store Purchase - Lack of Customer Support

    Purchased the XBOX One console package over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. XBOX comes in DOA. Called and was told to send it back and they would send me another. If I wanted to pay $15.00 they would cross ship one. I figured the 3-5 days I waited for
    the first one...NOT!

    I received a Fed-Ex paid label via my email and another email letting me know that my replacement XBOX would be send out in 2 days?

    5 business days later, nothing. I checked and they already had my DOA Xbox. I called and was told unless I pay the $15.00 fee, they would ship my replacement in 14-21 days. So unless you pay up front, your Xbox and money are being held hostage. No one could
    tell me why it takes 14-21 days to ship a replacement.

    I called and asked for a refund and was told I would be contacted in 48-72 hours. More time to hold my money. I believe my best bet is to call my credit card company and dispute the charge.

    Bottom line.... Don't buy from the Microsoft store. Go to a local store that will provide customer support.

    It doesn't sound like a hdd or profile problem causing your situation. You mentioned wireless while you were at the hsopital, is that how your console is connected at your home as well? If the answer is yes then please connect
    your console to your network via an ethernet cable and try your downloads. Sometimes when using a wireless connection there is packet loss resulting in faulty or incomplete downloads. When you download small files it isn't a problem so much but when you get
    up to over a 1Gb then you will notice it.

    it could be related to a HDD problem on the Xbox where your profile could be getting corrupted, please clear your cache ( I know, sounds like a noob answer) and see if that sorts anything if it does then move your profile to a usb pen and try that for a
    few days, if not is it possible to ask a friend to bring an Xbox round to yours and recover your gamertag to that one and try again, this will then eliminate most hardware problems.



    If all else fails please pop to a friends house and recover your gamer tag there and try the movies again, if there is no problems then it is something to do with your ISP's if there is a problem then you will have to contact support again.

    I have already checked this and confirmed this is not the issue with both diffirent isp broadband connections and all 3 modems. As I said originally, the problem has proved to be an account, GAMERTAG issue, as deleting my profile then redownloading somehow
    corrects the issue for a set period...
