    Lack of confirmation request for transferrring console licenses


    I've transferred my console licenses to my old xbox 360 accidentally whilst reading how to do a license transfer. I am now locked out of transferring said licenses to my new console for 4 months. It seems ridiculous to me that by pressing only one button
    you can be locked out of content, that you've paid for, for such a long time without any real prior warning. Or failing that even a simple pop-up box requesting confirmation. Does anyone know of anyway I can tranfers my licenses now without having to wait
    4 months?

    bought a new external 60GB hard drive

    I just bought a 60 GB hard drive to replace my old external 20 GB. I am NOT replacing my console just changing the hard drive. My question is .....will I have to transfer licenses or anything if I am simply transferrring all my info to a bigger drive and
    keeping the old system?

    unable to validate on Halo 4

    there is no issue with those map packs. if you have recently purchased a new xbox 360 unit, try transferrring your licenses, then re-download the map packs. if your still having problems, try going to the forums over at Halowaypoint.com

    Transferring a game... need some help

    Actually, download content is not transferrable between profiles. If you are trying to transfer it to another profile, that will not work.

    A license transfer switches it between consoles, but does not change the registration on which gamertag downloaded it.

    Once fully transferred to another console, license and all, other profiles should be able to play it though.

    Regardless of the licensing policies, I doubt MS meant for people to be unable to purchase stand-alone DLC for their profile, which is currently the case. Since it cannot be purchased from the console, isn't available here (xbox.com market) and isn't transferrable,
    there really is no resolution for someone that mistakenly installs FM5 content to the wrong profile.

    Hello Oli foster,

    I don't believe this option is possible. DLS is a digital license that is non-transferrable.
