    Lack of communication regarding Controller Service and Repair/Replacement


    I recently sent my Xbox One Elite 2 Controller away for a repair following a dead zone issue that occurred within weeks of purchasing a brand new one.

    Using the label provided I sent it away and had confirmation from the courier it had arrived at it's destination however I am yet to receive any confirmation from Microsoft that it has arrived at the Service Centre.

    This has been the case for a week as of today and I would like to know what is happening.

    As things stand I have had my controller sent away for repair longer than I had it with me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with your controller.

    If your controller's problem is hardware-related, the best thing to do is to have it repaired or purchase a new one. I understand this might not be the kind of advice you are seeking, however, I'm afraid I can't discuss or assist with a self-repair process. My apologies.

    * Microsoft does not sell replacement controller parts, nor does it repair controllers (Elite Controllers are an exemption), as they are always replaced via warranty service order. This means you'd need to have your controller repaired by a third-party service.

    Xbox Design Lab controller broken. Any warranty options for repairs instead of replacement?

    Unfortunately, requesting to have your controller repaired instead of replaced is not possible. All standard Xbox controllers, including those purchased through Xbox Design Lab, are replaced.

    Regarding your controller's warranty, I'm afraid performing self-repairs will void its warranty.

    Same here. It's been well over a year now. The lack of service and communication with regards to this issue is PATHETIC.
