1. Lack of any major co-op games

I know there are plenty of multiplayer games out right now; the Division and Rainbow Six Siege, and Battlefront, just to name a few. But I feel that the Xbox One is severally limiting the co-op experience for players.

It seems that games get released in two categories; single player with no multiplayer/co-op (Subnautica, Fallout 4), and multiplayer with limited single player/co-op (SW Battlefront). I know there is Halo Guardians and Halo has always had the co-op story
mode, which I absolutely loved, but I would like to see more games that have that co-op story mode. I also would like to see multiplayer games with more co-op missions against AI and not always against other players. I am not a competitive gamer; I like
to play online with others in order to feel connected to them through a common medium. I enjoy the feeling of helping another player get through the mission, or beat that one particular boss, or to win that big race. I know that I am not the only player
who feels that way.

One of the games from the X360 fit the bill for what I and my friends enjoyed about co-op gaming; that game was Warface I have seen lots of criticism for the game that went dark after almost a year in Beta. Some of the criticism was garnered; there was
a lack of new maps, weapons were annoying difficult to unlock (unless you paid real money), graphics could have been better, and the xbox version was significantly behind the pc version. For all these deficiencies, the game wasn't all that bad. It did succeed
in creating an environment where players had to work together to overcome the various missions (some extremely challenging) and it helped forged great friendships.

I know several players who have stated that they would like to see Warface brought to the xbox one. I too would like to see that, as long as it was maintained and brought up to the level of the pc version (which is still going strong). Or at least, I would
like to see more games for the xbox one that offered that level of cooperation with players as opposed to only encouraging vs play. Even if the co-op was part of the over all game and not the sole focus, the option would be nice. The co-op missions and racing
in GTA 5 Online is one of the aspects that keeps bringing me back to Los Santo.

It is my hope that in the future, developers will start to add more cooperation in their games and not just as an "add on" to the main game, but to make it a good, strong component to it.

:)

2. Batman: Arkham City Reviews Are Up. *Surprised Look*
it`s probably been marked down a bit for lack of multiplayer.
For lack of Co-op rather than lack of Multiplayer. this game doesn't need MP at all. But Co-op or some co-op modes would be fun.

multiplayer campaign

Dont know about on X1 but there is no co-op or split screen campaign on any COD - although it would be a good addition in my view. The Co-op option in Gears of War was what made those games great (with some minor flaws as a lack of ammo when 4 player co-op)

They should take note and introduce it Lack of any major co-op games :)

Lack of any major co-op games

I agree. I've really been let down In the past few years by the lack of truly co-op games. I do feel though that this isn't Microsoft's fault, nor sony's for that matter. I feel more that this is unfortunately a symptom of the times we live in. With the
huge surge in support and coverage of competitive gaming events, (specifically MOBA'S and FPS'S) that has become the popular way to play games in the eyes of developers. While there isn't anything wrong with enjoying these types of gaming experiences, it has
unfortunately shifted so much attention to it that the "splitscreen" style of enjoying a game with friends has seemed to fall by the wayside. I hope that eventually a happy medium is found and everyone can on joy their gaming experience the way they prefer.
But at least for now we've got GOW4 to look forward to as well as many arcade titles through the backwards compatibility, I personally love Castle Crashers, if you haven't played it I would highly suggest it. Stay strong and remember that you aren't alone
in the struggle.

I couldn't agree with you both more. I have been saying it for years that games were focusing on the multiplayer, specifically PvP. I do understand that gaming has made giant leaps with there now being major leagues for gaming. I'm now hearing of sports
teams expanding to the professional gaming world as well. A side note, I happen to be a football (or soccer for those Americans out there like myself) fan. Specifically the German Bundesliga and I have been hearing so many reports of clubs looking to expand
into the professional gaming world. I definitely think that is a positive for the gaming industry and for us gamers. I remember back during the Xbox and 360 days going to a friends house and setting up multiple Xboxs on LAN and having Halo parties. It's great
now being able to play with gamers across the world. I love meeting new people from different areas and connecting over common interests. I do miss some of the splitscreen but at least there is no more fighting over who gets what side of the screen or who
gets the top screen. Haha.

I don't mind there being more multiplayer PvP in games but it seems as if it has started to take away from other areas of the game. The likes of Halo and Call of Duty still have good campaigns but they seem to be diminishing in quality. Why can't we get
both. A good campaign and good multiplayer.

Castle Crashers was an amazing game and I'm hoping they release another game of the same caliber. Anyways, good gaming to you both.

Check out "Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition".

That's brilliant local co-op.

Pretty much any and all of the Lego games are great local co-op but then Lego is not everyone's cup of tea.

After that you're kind of restricted to "COD Advanced Warfare", "FLOPS III", "Ray Man Legends", "Borderlands II", "Plants vs Zombies", "7 Days 2 Die", "Minecraft", "Divinity II: Original Sin", "Marvel Ultimate Alliance" (both I believe), "Gears of War: Ultimate
Edition" and "HALO: Let's Do It All Again Edition".

To be fair there's probably more than you realise, especially if you throw in arcade fodder titles like "Minecraft" and "Rocket League".

Add to that list Dieing Light, Ark, Sniper Elite 3, Ryse, AC Unity, Farcry 4, Dead Rising, Dragon Age, Evolve, Forza, The Crew, Destiny, all have co-op either for the main game or specific activities just off the top of my head. Pretty sure as
Az said there are plenty more titles especially if you include indie's.

Oh...

What? He's saying there's no "Co-op" games????

I thought he was saying there weren't many "Local-Co-op Games".

There are tons of Co-Op games on the XBox ONE.

9. My biggest problem is finding people who play some of these games. I play Ark on the XBone, but none of my friends do. I've tried playing online with the intent of meeting others to play with but the servers are so competitive that its just not my cup of
tea. The same with Minecraft. I played Evolve the other night but no one would turn their mics on and talk. I've had the same issue with The Crew. I even go back to my X360 games and try to play with others. The problem is as much the players that I come across
as it is the games. Either no one talks or they won't shut up and work together.
