LA Noire & DLC

Hi, seeing LA Noire heavily discounted I decided to purchase this game again ( I bought the disk set when released ) and I thought that £1.99 or so for the Rockstar Pass was excellent I purchased that too and got all the DLC saving a fair amount of money.
I forgot how good this game was seeing I didn't complete it due to trading it in for Halo or some other game. The graphics are quite good and I must admit it's a quality game with a decent amount to do. I'm aiming to get all the achievements on this game.
Anyone else purchase this ?

Just got 1200 off La Noire just waiting for the rest of the Dlc.

 

Yeah it's a great game all right, I 100%'d it on my older profile, and I intend to play it again soon on this one. It's a shame Team Bondi didn't survive as a studio, they made a great, great game in L.A Noire.

It's deffo worth the asking price in the Rockstar sale. Even if you own the disc version, which I do too, buying the digital version so cheap is well worth it. There's no rush for any who haven't though, it's been in the same sale three times now, and I'm
sure it'll come around again. =)

 

Yes i finished it to 100%, but found it a bit of a boring repetitive game.

The one thing i struggled on when going for all the achievements was driving all the cars.

Be sure to go to the rockstar social club to see which ones you have missed.

 

Man I forgot about that -- that and the places of interest. Grindy.

I think they've stopped supporting stat and collectible tracking on L.A Noire and Red Dead Redemption over at the Social Club too. They also dropped support for Midnight Club.

Note to self: Find good collectible guides before replaying LA Noire. =)

 

I also just picked up the L.A. Noire pass and really enjoyed the extra cases,for $2.99 it was a steal. I have about 5 mop up cheevos left to go in L.A. Noire(including gold reels and driving all cars) so i'll have to make a day for that sometime but overall
i enjoyed this game.

 

I joined that social club thing just for that one achievement as there was no way to tell what cars you had driven already, would suck if its no longer available.

 

Borrowing it off a friend and it is an alright game. Worth a buy if you are into crime and investigation type games.

 

I loved the game. Sure, it was repetitive, but damn, every game is. The DLC was pretty decent too.

I remember they were supposed to make another game... The Wh*re of the Orient, but it must have fallen apart. =/

 

Forgot his name, but that old chauvinistic guy is hilarious. Don't often lol at many games, but i did when he was my partner. Was disappointed when he was replaced.

 

Got it when it first came out. It's one of my favorite gaming experiences in terms of story. The ending was kind of crap, but it wasn't awful.

Great game, wish to see a future sequel, but it's doubtful.
