    LA Noire DLC issue (Homicide Desk) Solution!!!


    I'm posting this for anyone that is still having an issue with the digital version of the game and the DLC not being available...

    I was having the issue where you got to a certain point in the game you had to download the homicide desk and the content not showing up.

    What I did was sign up for the rockstar social club from inside the game and then signed in from inside the game.

    once I did that all the DLC showed up on the in game marketplace and I was able to download the homicide desk

    Specific issue you are having: Digital Download Does not exist

    Any error code or message you are receiving: Homicide Desk not downloaded



    I've progressed in the game to the point where I am now starting homicide and each time I try to continue my game it says "Homicide Desk not downloaded".

    When I go to the market-place to download it, I do not find the Homicide Desk (Nor the Vice desk, I can only see the Arson desk).

    I tried the following:

    1- Clearing Console Cache

    2- Re-downloaded my profile

    3- Re-install the game

    Still I can not see the homicide desk in the in-game market place.

    Xbox just phoned me up this afternoon and they say the problem is resolved. I just went on l.a noir to check and the extra dlc you need is there for free so that's the homicide desk, vice desk and arson desk LA Noire DLC issue (Homicide Desk) Solution!!! :)

    I received this message after submitting support with Rockstar Games.

    "The initial download after purchase contains both the Traffic and Patrol desks (6.67GB). The additional three desks are downloaded separately through the in-game marketplace – Arson desk (1.13GB), Vice desk (915MB) and Homicide desk (1.71GB). The L.A. Noire
    game and the additional desks will only be playable with the initial download installed. All three additional desks can be downloaded at any point from the in-game marketplace, allowing for easier hard drive space management."

    However, the problem for me is that these downloads do not appear in the in-game marketplace. I'll keep you posted on any information I receive which may help you solve the problem as well.

    I called Microsoft and made them aware of the issue, and they are looking into it.

    I then called 2k and the they were uncooperative. They said they have no control or influence over PSN or Live marketplace, call Microsoft.

    So, I would wait a few days and then ask for a refund.
