L4D2 not available to download

So quick question...

I bought L4D2 about a year before it was backwards compatible... now that it is for some reason it not only says I never bought it (which I still have the game... how did I not buy it.) But that I have to rebuy it to get it for the Xbox one.

Can somebody help me please?!

License transfered game

Okay so I got my friends account and license transfered a game, then without deleting his account off my Xbox he bought L4D2 and I download it fine off him but it says can't launch L4D2

Sorry for the issue you're running into. Did you by chance purchase the game digitally or are you using a disc? If you can check and verify that it's showing you purchased the game here online:

marketplace.xbox.com/.../66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802454108d4 (Please make sure you login with the same Microsoft Account you used to originally get the game).

Also, is the account you're trying to play it on the account that purchased the game or do you have the console set as the home console for a separate account from the main account you use?

I did infact buy it online (digitally.)

I checked that link and signed in with this account, it is asking me to purchase it again... which is odd since I can still play the game.

And this is the only account I have :/

Hello William, if you are looking for a game and it is not available in the store for purchase it is because it was removed from the store, in the case of Left 4 Dead 2 it was removed by Valve.

When I go to left 4 dead 2 it says cant download on Xbox I have to go to the Microsoft store and I went to it and downloaded l4d2 and it didn’t show up on my Xbox one
