I have the same issue. Is there any known fix to this issue?

If the comment from XBF Diego Mindicates of the only fix, then I am a bit surprised as no where does the app state
that the configuration is stored off-site.

There are no reason for data to be stored any where but on the controller. Also, no information related to the requirement regarding a live account and storage location is given anywhere relevant to the consumer. Of course I am not a lawyer but I highly
doubt this is in-line with GDPR and/or European consumer laws as the setup is personal and no information is given on the storage location.

The most common issue I've seen not being able to configure the controller using the app on Windows 10 is that the app may not be signed in to your Xbox Live account, which is required to create and save custom profiles since the profiles are not saved locally
on your PC. Make sure you can log in without issues on https://account.xbox.com/ and then make sure you are logged into the Xbox Accessories app with the same account.

I do not see any prompt to login to my Xbox Live account on my Xbox Accessoirs App on Windows 10.

Why Profiles for my controller would be stored anywhere else than on my controller escapes my logic reasoning.

If you have any further information as to how to login to Xbox Live from the Xbox Accessoirs App on Windows 10, I would be happy to know about it.

Wie ich in meinem Post geschrieben habe, lässt sich der Controller ohne Probleme verbinden und nutzen. Allerdings ist die Schaltfläche "Konfigurieren" in der Xbox Zubehör App ausgegraut.

Die Lösung, die Sie vorschlagen hat nichts mit meinem Problem zu tun.
