Kodi will not work

I recommend transferring from Codi to some other, more reliable app. It is always a problem with Kodi. I never had a week without an issue. Sick of it. Change it.

Kodi is a third party app. If other apps work on your console, it might be an issue with the app itself.

So, I'll start by saying, being a gold member for 1 year, 7 years, or 15 years has nothing to do with the functionality of your system. No one cares how long you've been a gold member for.

Second, regarding the "usual trash about factory resets, power cycles and uninstall/reinstall..." I'm glad you are savvy enough to try some of those things. Not everyone is. You could have conveyed the same information without the sass.

Lastly, have you tried any other media apps, such as Plex? I have been running Plex on my machine without issue for a few years now. I switched from Kodi because I got sick of the configuration. The point I'm trying to make is, can you pin the problem down
to being the app or the Xbox? If other apps work, then it might be better to scoff at the strangers on the Kodi forums. If not, then you might be one of the unlucky folks who have some sort of physical hardware issue (highly unlikely).

At any rate, I hope that you are able to resolve your issue without too much more fuss. I know how frustrating it can be to have things not go exactly as you like all the time. It's a tough lesson in life we all face from time to time and it shows our character
