@Brako..I enjoyed both but KoA easily takes the cake for me. The dlc's added hours to an already long game and are really good especially the Dead Kel dlc. I'm not sure what your friends mean by grinding as you absolutely do not need to grind at all as the
side quest and regular quest are plentiful in this game and i mean plentiful lol It's easy to be doing a side quest in KoA and find 5 more before completing the one your on. You can easily hit the lvl cap with half the game to go lol

My only complaint with KoA is the absence of a jump button as you have to be in a certain spot to get an A button prompt even if it's just a step down and character models are over used frequently but not a big deal. The loot in KoA such as armor and weapons
is quite abundant and a lot of nice sets to be found. I love the KoA world to as it's beautiful and huge with colors that amaze me every time i play it. You could easily fit the Dragon's Dogma map in 1 map on KoA.

Dragon's Dogma is a great game but it seemed after a few hours of playtime every night i was trying to find something else to play..it never held my attention for long periods of time and in games like it i never have that problem. The constant back traveling
gets stale. It does and did bring quite a bit of unique things such as the pawn system which is amazing. I could spend all night on KoA and realize i'm 2 hours past my bedtime lol so it made for a lot of tired work days.

  2. Cheers Yellowjacket,

Ii love my achievements too. The game doesn't have any bugged achievements to prevent 100% completion does it? Does it offer a reason to replay the game other than different character builds, as in does it offer alternative paths, etc.

  3. Anytime BrakoKOA: Reckoning :) I ran into no bugged achievements as almost all of them were rather really easy to get including the hard play through. A second play through is up to the player as it has no branching paths or alternate paths as i recall but it has tons
of factions to join lol and it's such a long game with a huge amount of content you'll not rush to a second play through right away...i'm on my third now lol but mainly because i'm a huge fan of the game and try different things each time.

I found the reagent harvesting achievement troublesome when I played it. Gotta make a note of what you actually harvested as opposed to picked up from loot and chests. I ended up using a guide and going from location to location harvesting each one. Heh.
    No glitched cheevs though.

Gotta agree with Yellow regarding the dlc too... each one is huge and worth the asking price. If you're finicky about your inventory and what's in it, like I am, don't remove/sell and retrieve the House of Ballads armour set... it'll get stuck in your inventory.
Also books in Dead Kell respawn and are quest items... if you pick up a book you've already handed in... it's in your inventory forever. =)

With the brilliant dlc you're looking at well over 100 hours of playtime on your first playthrough.

The dlc alone is a lot longer than some actual games & well worth the money.

Had a look around & it seems to be a common problem with no solution i'm afraid.

Only thing i can suggest is to phone support for your region, explain the situation & you may get the points refunded.
