    Known Xbox 1 One update problem


    Google "Xbox One update problem" and it is overwhelming how many people are having a problem with this issue. When is Xbox gonna fix it? There is a failure to update and various error codes, my last one was 0x8B050066. When you call support you are put
    thru the whole dog and pony show, clearing the cache, checking for a network problem, blah, blah, blah, etc. Xbox knows of this problem but they, so far, are refusing to address it. They need to take care of their customers or pretty soon they are not going
    to have any.

    XBox One disc goes back into console on ejection

    i have the same problem after the update and sometimes it doesnt read my discs and says its damaged when they're not, i contacted xbox and they said its a known issue and are aware of it and trying to fix it

    I scanned the web and read most of the threads that you probably did. One thing you did not mention was update compatibility. Different update level are known to cause problems. To remedy this:

    1. Locate and delete the updates for GoW3 on all involved systems.

    2. That leaves all the systems at equal update levels. Now:

    a. Try the system link with none of the Xboxes connected to XBox Live

    b. or log each system into Xbox Live and start the game and thus download the same update.

    Thanks clankyNinja, posted the above one before reading yours. Nice clear and simple explanation, now we know we simply need to wait for an update. I suppose the biggest frustration is nothing has come out from Microsoft to explain this. It's a shame that
    the XBox 1 has been out for a few weeks and nothing has come out from Microsoft about the current issues. If it's a known problem they should be telling people, Id rather know and wait for an update than vent on a forum. +1 clankyNinja
