Although I am not happy that any of us are having this problem, I am glad to know that it isn't "just me". Microsoft evidently doesn't read what we post because they don't seem to have bothered to respond. I guess we just wait.

Hello SwordofWhedon,

Purchases and other changes take up to 96 hours to be processed by our program. When your previous subscription ended, there was a brief period where we were receiving you renewal information where your subscription was not recognized. We have since received
your renewal and your Gold subscription has again been recognized. Apologies for the confusion.

For any information about your ban, you would need to go to
http://enforcement.xbox.com

If you have been given a ban until 9999, it is permanent. You can try submitting a case review on the enforcement site, but if the enforcement team upholds their decision, you will not be unbanned.
