Know anything about the Xbox beta?

I keep seeing threads recruiting for guilds that can't really get going until summer but no one has mentioned the beta. Has anyone signed up? Does anyone know when the invites are going out? I have been suffering withdrawal. I really appreciated being part
of the beta (I've never done that before) but I miss it. I'm remaining firm about not getting the Mac version but I might be tempted to get the One early if I thought I had a chance at the beta.

It might be a rumor. But I was talking with a friend of mine and we were playing invasion in Reach, and someone started talking to us about how you'll be able to play as Knight's and Elite's. I doubt it, but it would be extremely cool, at least for the elite.

nope, the only time you don't play as a spartan is in flood mode, a variation of the infection playlist.

 

I haven't heard anything about the Xbox One beta. Have applied but nothing yet. Not sure they will need me as I only seemed to get an invite before because they were 'stress testing'.

 

No Xbox one beta yet.

It should be release in june,i guess we will get some kind of stress test instead of a "real" beta.

 

I decided to sign up anyway. I doubt we'll see a price drop on the One and I've already pre-ordered so a bundle won't be attractive so I figured I might as well. If I get an invite I'll just head out to Best Buy. I really hope the date doesn't slip. I googled
and saw nothing in the rumor mills but I keep all appendages crossed nonetheless.

 

Here is the email I received from TESO regarding the One Beta. The link for the beta signup is no longer functioning but the info is good. Sorry theres no solid answer from them:

It has reached our team's awareness your inquiry on the console versions of the game.

At this moment we are still not at liberty to release any information on such releases.

When the beta is launched (at a date still to be established) players will be able to discover all this things and trough feedbacks and suggestions like yours, help us improve everything before release.

Beta release dates will be showing on our website, either on the front page or in the forums/news section, as soon as it is decided. Again, I do apologize but right now, we still do not have anything firmly established.

Hi - Can you tell me what the plans are for in game chat with the console version of the game? I see on twitch where the chat log in game is constantly filling with conversations which is fine for a keyboard based game but the consoles arent designed for
that even though there is wireless keyboard support integrated into the consoles.Voice recognition support? Any information you can share? Also, how about any info on the console beta release dates? It has got to be hitting us soon , yes?

Sad to say it but now that I am fully committed to buying this game I am slowly starting to realize that I'm not going to be able to play it until summers either over or about to be over. I say this because there's only six days left in April and then we
will have all of May which is 31 days and then the date I keep seeing online is June 3rd. Think back to the PC/Mac beta's, they were out for months before the games release, like over 2 months, and we have only 40 days until the "supposed" release date, and
still no news even about the beta or even the release of this game. I understand it was originally designed specifically for PC and Mac but they DID have consoles in mind so why the delay on info? It's scares me that we are so close to the date and yet I have
no confidence of it releasing on time, my guess sometime around August probably later

 

The date is and has always been June 30 not June 3. Amazon sent a delivery date for pre-orders of July 2. Someone on the TESO forum also had the June 3rd date. Post a link of where you saw it. This is the product info on Amazon

I believe the June 3rd date is just wishful thinking extrapolated from Zenimax's vague June. In truth there is nothing official from anyone about the console release.

 

Actually, the console release was advertised as 6/6 in gamestop and other stores for quite some time. The date was changed recently to 6/30. When I purchased my imperial edition from best buy it said I can pick up on 6/6, now it says 6/30. I am hoping this
is the only delay that happens.

 

BTW, the beta application was closed for a while but now appears to be open again. Hopefully that means there will be an announcement soon?
