    Kinnect won't Recognise me


    Hi

    My kinnect doesn't recognize me and thinks I'm a guest. So it doesn't register any of my gestures. How do I get it to recognise me? All the support articles are on the old dashboard and those options sent available anymore. I've been looking for a good hour

    Tried to redeem a 3 month live code and keep getting error.

    When I put the error code into xbox.com/errorcodes it doesn't recognise the code! I've contacted the supplier who has asked me to take it up with microsoft but because it won't recognise the error code, I can't contact them.

    Kinnect won't Recognise me

    when the last time you update your xbox one console? have tried to power cycle for 10 seconds then unplug it then plug it back in. If the doesn't work try to reset your sign in data.

    Can you please try pressing on the Xbox button on the controller and Select the far right System tab then select Setting / Account / Sign-in, security & passkey / Manage my Kinect sign-in-data and you should see the option of I wasn't recognised. Outside
    of this gesture control for the dashboard was removed and only Kinect supported games retain the gesture controls.

    Thanks Ricardo. No, it doesn't. It just won't let me log in. Like it doesn't recognise the credentials at all.

    I think it's also so they won't have to convince people to buy both the kinnect, and illumiroom xd
