    Kinnect on XBOX One S has stopped working


    I recently purchased Xbox One S and received the adapter for Kinnect. I was able to set it up and it was working well. After about 3 weeks, it just stopped. Xbox One S does not detect Kinnect sensor anymore.

    Here are some troubleshooting that I have done so far:

    1. Check that the Kinnect has power. The LED on the brick is white.

    2. Unplug and plug all the Kinnect cables.

    3. Hard reset/reboot Xbox One S console.

    Nothing. Still dead. Console does not see Kinnect. It was working working before; I had it with my original Xbox One and then 3 weeks with the new Xbox One S; why it stop now? Please advise. Thanks.

    Kinect stops working randomly. Full Reboot fixes it

    Since the March Xbox update my Kinnect has stopped working. Tried everything can't get it working. Must be an update problem. Worked fine before the update

    Why can't my Xbox One S wireless controller detect headsets?

    I bought my Xbox one S Wireless Controller in August 2018, and the 3.5mm headphone jack has been working fine. Then, yesterday it just stopped working completely. Can someone help me?

    I have almost the same problem. Kinnect doesn't power on. And TV and audio (connected via S/PDIF) doesn't power on and off correctly. Kinnect not work at all.

    This is a good question , .

    Where is Iceman III when you need him ....

    Will you be able to upgrade your firmware and benefit from the extra power .....but will that leave the kinnect a lump of worthless plastic .

    Or can you keep it the way it is ...with less power ...but still use kinnect ..?.

    Will developers aim to make games with kinnectless xb1 's in mind ... will they be awful on xb1's that keep kinnect.

    Will there be an options to switch back and forth ...from kinnect to no kinnect?.
