Kinnect isn't 4 everyone!

And there are people who come here to post and share information (without bias or prejudice) so that others know what is going on with the Xbox One.

 

Not necessarily true, Rippen. Someone can still share their opinion, even if they don't care to own an Xbox One - it just won't hold as much weight as a result.

If you not got the room or a cable box then you not really going to get the potential out of it,just saying.

 

The problem is WC has stated he will not buy an Xbox one and is pro-sony. So what is the point of his ridiculous threads that he makes? Flame bait, trolling, attention whatever you want to call it. Notice how his threads usually get locked or deleted?


Then when he wants to be taken seriously it have a civil discussion he never will be. A modern day boy who cried wolf scenario. Or should I say troll who cries xbox sucks, i love sony!

 

Perhaps. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, though. I take everything on a case by case basis.

 

I totally agree Kinect isn't for everyone.

For me though this is no different that Xbox One isn't for everyone, PS4 isn't for everyone, Forza 5 isn't for everyone, roast dinner isn't for everyone ... ( More or less an endless list here )

Thankfully though we all have a choice and with the things mentioned above, none are these are things we need to live day to day, week to week so we all just make our own choices, no drama's etc.

 

Kinnect is definitely not for everyone, and for many reasons, hopefully MS see this at some point, it's still the reason many have not bought the ONE.

 

I'm still a Kinect fan, I like what I've seen so far, how it's been used in games, voice commands etc and with the console being only 4 months old I'm sure there is better to come.

Now whether Microsoft will ever make it optional, who knows, I bet even Microsoft don't know yet but my guess they won't rush into anything just yet. Of course people will always compare how XB1 has sold to PS4 but it was always going to struggle, Microsoft's
terrible PR before launch, DRM turnaround, price difference, Kinect, not released in all countries/regions yet, taking all this into account I don't think Xbox One has done bad at all, well by reports it's sold more than the 360 did in the same time period.

Getting back to Kinect, I think Microsoft will wait a good while yet, we have E3 coming up and if they show some great titles then that should see sales pick up. Then later in the year Xbox One releases in more area's, if say 6 months after all this and
sales are not what Microsoft want then in my opinion they will consider Kinect etc

 

I like the X-O but the Kinect is a piece of junk.

Its important to remember that the Kinect isn't just for the games. I am hopeful that one day this will be used to help people less able to take advantage of the console itself. Deaf people and sign language for example. It isn't so much about what it can
do right now, but what it can do in the long run.

 

So 6 FT you didn't call everyone a fool for liking Kinect? I think I would call that name calling!

I really hope they are gonna incorporate cortana for the kinect like what their doing on the wp8.1
