kinnect adapters

Hello Microsoft.

I have bought two Xbox one when it was bundled for a lot of money with the xbox one kinnect.i have since purchased the xbox one s and will be purchasing the new xbox one x.

It was really nice of you to offer Xbox kinnect adapters for the Xbox one S customers. You made a marketing decision to release your product with an accessory. Then you made another marketing decision to kill off the propriety port that the kinnect uses
in the Xbox one S and subsequently the xbox one x. It makes sense that you would offer your customers an option to utilize your products as they were intended and charging them an additional money to use something they bought 5 years ago certainly seems disingenuous
and deceptive.

You can find all of my purchase history and registration information on my Xbox account and would like to know if i could be sent a complimentary adapter to connect my kinnect to the new consoles .

Kinect Adaptor Promotion with the Xbox One X

I bought the Xbox one the night it launched when it was bundled for 500 dollars with the xbox one kinnect. I passed on the xbox one s because I was going to wait and buy the 4k Xbox when it came out.

It was really nice of you to offer Xbox kinnect adapters for the Xbox one S customers. You made a marketing decision to release your product with an accessory. Then you made another marketing decision to kill off the propriety port that the kinnect uses
in the Xbox one S and subsequently the xbox one x. It makes sense that you would offer your customers an option to utilize your products as they were intended and charging them an additional 40-50 dollars to use something they bought 5 years ago certainly
seems disingenuous and deceptive.

Suggested fix for Controller disconnects

That worked! Thanks - there is a definite issue with the Kinnect. What gave it away was your comment on the blocking of the signal view from the Kinnect.

I unplugged the Kinnect and whaala...back in action.

 

I'm in the same boat, early Xbox One adopter. Part of my choice to stay Xbox was Kinect since I have issues that sometimes make it really hard for me to use controllers and remotes. So I end up using the voice control more often than any other method of
navigation.

The X is supposed to be the premium edition so I hope we don't get left in the cold
