King's Quest Chapter 2 Download Issue

I am getting an 800700E8 error code when I try to download chapter 2. Both compatibility updates were installed, I went through the entire support on the error and nothing fixed the problem., I even deleted it and reinstalled and still get the error every
time. Is this just a problem on the 360? Is this problem going to be fixed in the next few days?

Getting error 800700e8 trying to download Chapter 2 of King's quest.

Got it working on the Xbox 360 complete collection. You need to:

1) Update the game title, happens ingame

2) Download compatibility pack 1 of 2

3) Download compatibility pack 2 of 2

4) Download King's Quest: The Complete Collection - Chapter 2: Rubble Without A Cause

After downloading all that, whether ingame, browser or console store, the game will show "Play" under chapter 2 instead of "Purchase". No need to redownload anything, as long as it's all there. Please share, playing now.

Don't think the complete collection is working.

 

I found a fix to the problem of downloading chapter 2.

Go to

marketplace.xbox.com/.../66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d80241560926

sign in to your account the scroll down on the page to the chapter 2 section and click purchase for free then download to my xbox.

 

Nope, that doesn't work. If you bought the complete collection, you don't get an option for downloading chapter 2 separately.

go there, scroll down to all downloads then look for purchase chapter 2 for free.

 

Sorry, it isn't there for me either. Nothing for chapter 2 except trailer videos. I'm on the 360 version, what about you?

 

jwalsh71, did you purchase the Season Pass or the Complete Collection? Because it does not show what you are talking about. I am glad you got yours working, but please don't tell us we are wrong. Just accept that your way does not work for us and let someone
else answer our problem or help us find a solution that does work for us.

Okay, it worked for me now. Before, there was not the option to download the 2nd chapter in the extras. I am glad they fixed this problem so soon!
