I always use mute when I'm talking to my box (sounds like I need help I know) it does get on my nerves when I hear people talking to theirs, I do find dogs and family arguments quite amusing tho.

3.
Whats worse is when someone uses the Kinect, does voice commands, has their TV speakers too loud, and you got loud music in the background, and they don't change their Kinect settings to cancel out background noise by a certain
%.
There's a way to adjust that? I've never seen an option for that! Where is it?

As far as family arguments go, if you've played with me regularly, then you've probably heard your fair share. ><

When I'm in party chat I mute when I use snap and other commands. Xbox Record That I just say because I enjoy other people saying it. Get to ask them watch just happened and remind myself to go check out their clip later when I'm done playing.

When I am playing with random people in online games I've sent a ton of you should probably mute your Kinect unless you like people listening in on your family conversations. Have it noted on my phone so I can send copy and paste it through smart glass with
instructions on how to mute the Kinect. Seriously should be a "Xbox Mute Kinect" voice command instead of having to stop playing and go through a couple menus to do it. Every update that improves the Kinect should have a video that explains the features, and
remind them to calibrate it.

I'm sure you can adjust TV speaker volume percentage when in snap mode, apart from that all you can do is position the Kinect and let it calibrate itself,

that is the reason why the mute button is so big. You can mute, use voice command and unmute as fast as you can press any of the buttons..

If it happens in games.. just let them know... so many people do not know that is the reason why

7. I'm usually always in a party with a couple of friends, but it's not really a problem for us. We try to mute ourselves before saying the command, but there are times when we don't and if it interrupts the conversation it's no
biggie.

I was in a party with one of my friends several weeks ago. Talking bout the 360 kinect but its a KINECT topic. Her mic was broken and I could here her parents and a whole bunch of their friends talking in the background. One of my friends joined the party
and she got annoyed because there were like 12 peps u could here at once. My other friend muted her and still has her muted and refuses to unmute her. All 3 of us also live in NZ.

I always mute myself when talking on the phone or to someone in the room. If I'm in a lobby of people and someone starts having a convo outside of the realm of the game I tend to mute them. Unless its a good argument. I listened to one guy argue on the phone
with his gf through an entire CoD match.

At least we can mute them on Xbox One, on BF on Xbox 360 there was no way to mute players on your own squad, I used to ask them to turn it off, as it ruined the game, but sometimes they wouldn't, I just left the squad.

11. I think the most annoying part of all is most people have no consideration for anyone else in the lobby. If you ask them to mute, they act like you're the one causing the disruption.

JMPO, but they never should have included the option to use Kinect as a mic until they got it sophisticated enough to filter out at least 90% of all background noise.

You got to have some fun sometimes and if adults can't get use to kids on Xbox, then ~~. Just mute them if anyone gets annoying. Funny I don't see Kinetiquette in the Xbox Live TOC or COC. It's good to have good manners tho. It's not good to keep things
bottled up.

@Zero, that's kind of why I thought that an auto mute when the Kinect starts listening would work well if it could be implemented... no need to remember a universal gesture and no need to remember anything for those who just don't think about it (or even
those who just don't care).
