kinetc is turning off and on, repeatedly...

I've had my XB1 for over a year now, first bought the regular black one w/ a kinetc and a 500MB HD... and then later bought a CoD special XB! just because it has the 1 GB HD... ever since the beginning, on both Xbox One's and through all the updates and
improvements, I've had the same problem with my Kinetc, contacting XB1 support at least a dozen times they always tell me the same thing... unplug everything, re-attach, then re-set the Kinetc, it then works for a few days without issue but then always and
forever after a few days of working it starts, out of the blue, turning off and on... it's gotten to the point that I really can't count on it and don't use it... so I sent M$ and XBOX ONE support this video showcasing the problem... still waiting for a reply.

So if anyone of you know what's going on here, why? or anyone that works at M$ support... share this, see what you can do for me. PLEASE.

That said, I still love my Xbox One... loved the 360 slim better, wish I would of kept it and my 50+ games.

Kinect turning off and on repeatedly

My Kinect on XBOX One is continuously turning off and on. I've unplugged it and replugged it, hard restarted the console and read many of the threads on this issue. None have gave a positive result. I need assistance with getting this corrected. I would
appreciate it.

Brothers Turning Xbox On and Off Repeatedly

Yeah I seriously doubt it'll cause any damage unless you start abusing it like your little brothers did. I recommend you block your brothers from getting near the XBOX and not just for the on/off issue but who knows that that little brother is capable of
doing to your xbox.

Sorry you're having issues with the Kinect. From your video it does look like there is something wrong with the unit. I did some reading, and found a post that fixed a couple people. In the settings there is an option to turn Kinect off and on. They toggled
this off and on, and then it started working for them without reboots. Not sure if it helps or doesn't help. If it doesn't help based on the video I would suggest you send your Xbox in for repair at https://myservice.xbox.com

The last mixamp is over a year old, i have the 2014 version of the headset/mixamp, but i did try to download the firmware[was up to date already]. But i will try to disconnect my kinetc/turn them mic off on it, ill let you all know if it helps thank you.

Looks like it was a hardware issue the whole time. I exchanged my Kinect for another one at Gamestop and this one seems to be working fine. I streamed for several hours today and it stayed on the whole time.

I found this post having the same or a similar problem

They suggested resetting my mac address and factory resetting on xbox one. I did both. My Kinect is still restarting itself constantly.
