Kinectimals Unleashed - Servers down?

Per a posting in another section of the forums (see: Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened. ):

Kinectimals Unleashed is not fully functional as of late March 2015. To date, the problem has occurred approximately one week ago. Approximate date the issue began was March 28th, 2015

Issues seen so far:

1. Tapping the "FRIENDS" location gives the error message "Couldn't connect to the server. Please try again later."
   
2. Tapping the "PACK CHALLENGE" location, then tapping the screen to continue gives the error message "Unable to connect to the server."
   
3. Pausing, tapping "SAVE/LOAD OPTIONS", then tapping either "SAVE" or "LOAD" gives the error message "Online features are currently unavailable. Please try again later."
   

This causes several problems for users.

• Users cannot backup or restore saves. If a phone is lost or damaged, all progress since the last cloud save (when it was possible) is lost. This is rendered moot by the fact that there is also no way to restore said save.
  
• Users cannot earn Gems. The game is designed to slowly dole out these resources through features mentioned above, and are needed to access certain areas of the game. Said areas are needed for multiple achievements in-game.
  
• Users cannot play the Daily Challenge. Along with gems, this provides in-game funds for taking care of the Kinectimals, as well as a daily game/task to play that is generally unique to that date.

Unable to connect to Xbox live in games

got the same error with Nokia Lumia 630 and Kinectimals Unleashed

 

Can't connect to Kinectimals Unleashed server

When go to upload/download save and challenge of the day i get this message.

 

Park challenges say "Unable to connect to server" Upload says "Online features are currently unavailable. Please try again later." I am connected to the internet and all other games work fine. I have tried multiple WAN's and also tried restarting my phone.
Other friends have reported the same issue and I have made them aware of this post to add to the discussion. Thank you for your time.

 

Please fix the servers, I'm close to finish the game on WP and Win8! U_U

 

Second what has been posted by Saucy.

This is the second time I had a big issue with this game. After a previous update, my save file vanished and I was reset.

Please fix this.

 

Would like to see this fixed myself too please. Just started playing the game and am reluctant to play anymore until this issue gets resolved. Would feel quite angry right now if I had spent money on the title, was considering to in future but wont until
this issue is resolved.

 

I've also been unable to access any online features in the game for about a week. Some things are reliant on spending gems, so I hope you'll have this resolved soon so we can get back to gifting gems to our friends. Thank you.

 

I've encountered the same problem on the Windows 8 version as well as the Windows Phone version (as have several others over at xboxachievements.com and trueachievements.com

It's not just the pack challenges and friends (sending gems) but the cloud saves.

Any update from Xbox Support would be most welcome

Adding to this. Online features of Kinectimals Unleashed (Daily Challenge, Friends List, Cloud Saving) are broken. Not just on my Windows Phone 8, but on Desktop/Tablet Windows 8 as well.

Did a Security Certificate expire without someone paying attention to it?

Same here. Server has been unavailable for kinectimals unleashed on win8 and WP for the past 6 days with no response from MS. Looks like I'll be replacing my WP with the galaxy S6 because this kind of stuff happens too frequently.
