Kinect works intermittently

    Kinect works intermittently


    Since the update, it seems my Kinect turns on when it feels like it. Sometimes it's on, others it's not. The connections are solid. System has not moved since I bought it. I go to the system settings and it says 'Please connect' But it's connected! This
    is supremely frustrating since my headset isn't working right either, so I can't even use the xbox voice commands, let alone in game commands. Any ideas?

    Anybody got Battlescreen working on Win8.1 Smartglass?

    Same here, it works intermittently, but nothing stable at all.

    Xbox Live works Intermittently

    I've already opened the ports and tried again with no luck. Same error.

    Kinect works intermittently

    Try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. See if the issue persists after that.

    Yeah, I've done that. (I play BF4 and the constant black screen and load fails make me reset constantly. Looking maybe to send this unit to warranty

    xbox fitness problems

    I am very disappointed in the band width problem, but I am also experiencing a need to reboot the kinect frequently to be able to use Fitness, even though it is working fine on everything else. I upgraded from 360 just for the Fitness which is a terrific
    program if and when it works. After rebooting Kinect over a period of a couple months (At this point my system was one month and 4 days old) it suddenly kept stopping intermittently and I had to get a new one via exchange through Microsoft.
