Kinect Volume Controls not working after the most recent update

I'm experiencing issues with the Volume Up and Volume Down functions with the Kinect on the XBOX One. All other functionalities including Mute work fine.

I have already worked with a Chat Technician for the issue: Ref# 1349995462

Interestingly enough, the volume controls work during the setup process. They cease to function once the settings are confirmed.

I have removed my profile, reset Bluray player settings, reset MAC settings, fully factory reset the console and I have not resolved the issue.

The issue is with a Sony receiver if that helps?

Kinect Sensor is buggy after NXOE

Do any of you also have issues with the IR blaster? My Kinect after the update wont control volume or power for my AV Receiver. Mute works, and in the setup menu it is able to control volume there but not outside the setup area. Its really really annoying!!

 

Got issues with chat mixer. I use Kinect for microphone. Since the update chat mixer does not work .and volume of games drowns out party volume.may be related to your issue

 

Unfortunately I don't think this helps. The Kinect hears all other commands and executes nearly flawlessly. The only issues I have are Volume UP and Volume Down. Both commands work perfectly during the setup phase, but it seems it's not sending a signal
at all once the settings are confirmed.

 

I would also like to add to this, that the Xbox Media remote also does not work, so it really doesn't have anything to do with voice commands.

 

I have this problem as well since getting an Xbox One S. It works to turn the surround sound receiver on and off but not volume up/down. I see the xbox registering the volume command but the sound does not go up or down. It seems to work a little better
at night.

 

I have the Exact same issue with my Pioneer AVR. Xbox Support was Useless. It used to work on my Xbox One. After one of the Major Dashboard updates I suddenly lost the ability to use Only Volume up and down. But in setup and if I issue the "Xbox Volume
Up/Down" voice command it works perfectly. I just replaced my Xbox One with a One S and hoped that this would Solve the issue and its the same damn thing.... I have read a Ton of people having this issue and just like this thread.... the thread died out
without a solution... You'd think after over a year Microsoft would acknowledge the issue and try and fix it. I have a feeling that in an Update for the Xbox One they took out a bunch of Kinect Control Stuff to save space or for speedier Dashboard response
and they accidentally nuked something they shouldn't have.

Anyone out there find a Solution yet? Like I said. Microsoft was less than useless. They had me pretty much wipe my XBox One to Factory default and start over and it didn't work. Buying the Xbox One S and having the same problem Proves that its their
mistake to fix.
