Kinect Voice Recognition / Controller assignment

One feature that seemed to have taken 10 steps backward since the NXOE update is general recognition.

First of all, why is it that Kinect won't recognize anymore who is speaking while in the dashboard. The funny thing is that it actually works when playing a game or using an app. For example when my girlfriend watches Netflix in her account and I show up
and say ''xbox go home'' it goes straight in my own personal dashboard. But when the dashboard is just in her home dashboard and I say ''xbox go home'' the kinect understands the command but does not switch to my account. It's like if Kinect is recognizing
people in games or apps but does not in the main dashboard which is strange and not very useful.

Second, why is such a pain to assign controllers to players or guests? On the PS4, as soon as a controller is detected, a command prompt asks who is using it immediately. Why can't the Xbox one do the same, would be much less of a pain especially that now
kinect doesn't recognize who is holding the controller anymore.

How are you signing in to your console when you turn it on?

• Kinect facial recognition?
• Kinect voice sign in?

Xbox One - up to 6 people can be logged on at once

Well, I imagine this is mostly going to be enabled through the Kinect. Currently, the profiles are each assigned and logged in via a controller, and the console supported up to 4. Unless you can suddenly support more than 4 controllers for a game (which would be nice and plausible, but I doubt it), then I imagine the Kinect will use its voice/face recognition to log in multiple people at once if need be.
