Discus and support Kinect Voice commands not available in certain countries in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; This is something I've been Thinking about for a while now...     Kinect Voice commands not available in certain countries


    This is something I've been Thinking about for a while now... I'm living in Norway, so naturally I've set my Xbox to "Norwegian" language. Mostly because if I live in Norway I got no choice to set it to Norwegian, since that's the only option there is. And
    when I go to the Voice option, there is none to choose from. Why couldn't we at least get to choose English for the voice AND the system language. Then we could at least use the voice command, even though there is no Norwegian support for it yet. We can't
    be the only ones that miss this option..? I also thought that the reason why the Xbox One was delayed in my country was because they wanted to put in support for our countries. But I actually see no difference between the international One and the Norwegian
    released one (by boyfriend bought an imported version before the Norwegian release, that's why I know this).

    I wasn't sure where to put this post, so I hope I put it in the right place.

    Xbox One turning on my TV?

    Jut note this isn't available in all launch countries. I was trying to get this to work, but it's not available in Australia yet.

    XBOX one elite warranty - is it covered across all Countries. if i buy in USA and use it in India, does the warranty is covered in India as well

    All Xbox accessories are available for use in all countries, with a few exceptions to Tv tuners, Kinect (specifically commands) , powerbricks, etc... . So buying the Xbox One Elite bundle from the US would require an Indian powerbrick.

    I'm not certain about the warranty though.

    Also I'm a year late. I have the same issue as German living in Finland.

    I set the box to German location and bought gift cards / game codes from Germany via a web store.

    If you want English I recommend to set you location to Ireland as the Scandinavian Microsoft store cards are for Norway/Sweden/Denmark/Finland and Ireland.

    Ah, nice to know!

    But it's still disappointing that English isn't available in all countries, like the 360 were.

    And this post have now been up for over a year now, and no replies from MS yet...

    You're correct, unfortunately Finland is an unsupported country for voice commands. Only a few countries are currently supported for voice commands.

    Voice commands work 0% of the time. It's like that in most countries. Why on earth would anyone want to pay and extra 100 dollars for something that only works for voice commands, yet disable that feature from every country except a few? Kinect=pointless
