    Kinect USB adapter for Xbox one s


    Finally decided to buy an Xbox for my little one as now he’s old enough. Purchased an Xbox one s and a Kinect (as these are the only age appropriate games). Have only realised that I need a USB adapter which I can no longer purchase from Microsoft - and
    others are now trying to sell the them for over $300! Epic fail!! Spent over $400 for something that appears to be useless for me. Are Microsoft no longer making these adapters??? Or when can we purchase one at the RRP?

    How can obtain the kinect adapter with my new xbox one s

    Good day,

    I was seen that it's possible to have the USB adapter for kinect if you already have the first xbox one and kinect, that's my case. I have bought a new xbox one s, how can i obtain this adapter?

    Unfortunately MS have discontinued making them. You’ll only be able to buy them second hand now.

    There was only one kind of USB Kinect adapter, and it was meant to be used on either the Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

    Microsoft has discontinued production on this adapter recently. There are no news of
    another adapter in the works, or restocks of the current one.

    If you wish to play Kinect games on your Xbox One S/X, you'll have to find an adapter from a third-party reseller, or use an original model Xbox One console.
