Kinect Turns off repeatedly

Ok so my Kinect Keeps turning off then on then off then on never stays on its weird just started happening for no reason....it a brand new kinect soooo what gives xbox...

First thing I would try is unplugging it and replugging it back in. Maybe a power cycle. Hopefully that works.

I know when I had one do this the kinect was overheating and the fan would never come on. If you bought it from a retailer maybe you can take it back and exchange or refund. When the kinect over heats it can burn out a thermal fuse on the kinect and then
it will not power than fan causing the kinect to power down.

I have this same problem with my kinect on my XboxOne. If I haven´t used it in a long time it works fine for about 15' to 30'. then it starts disconnecting constantly. It is unusable! I tried disconnecting the Xbox, the Kinect, then waiting and start the
Xbox and connect the Kinect and configure it again, but it still fails. Isn´t there a software solution for this, cause this is not working. Thanks!
