kinect turning off and on

    kinect turning off and on


    For the last month or so, my kinect has started to turn off and on at random when I'm using my xbox one.

    I've tried unpluging it, hard reset...blown air into the fan on it. pretty much everything. Nothing fixes it.

    Is my kinect doing a RROD dead thing? Really not in the mood to send it in for repairs and paying for it myself.

    so, anyone got any ideas or know what it happening?

    Kinect turning off and on?

    My kinect keeps turning itself off randomly, I have calibrated it twice, but nope still doesnt work. Turns itself on randomly, and then off. It stayed on for an hour or two today but then I GO TO USE IT AND NOPE TURNS ITSELF OFF after a few minutes... Anyone
    got a solution? I'm gunna return it soon if it doesnt work.

    Xbox One TV Control Issues

    its under the Kinect>? at least for the power setting part... not sure... I am at work.... but I know the 3 options are XBOX OFF turn off Kinect, Turns off Kinect & TV Turns off Kinect TV and Receiver .. XBOX ON turns on etc etc etc

    if you turn the sensor off by going into the kinect settings on the dashboard, it should stop displaying the mic. But if you only turn the kinect mic off, it will still display the mic symbol in the game. As i have one but i just turn the kinect sensor off
    and it turns the mic totally off

    whats your privacy problem exactly? if its the kinect voice commands can be shut off, and the kinect can be turned off too

    unplug your kinect the turn your console off and switch off at the wall then turn your console back on the go to settings and kinect then plug your kinect back in and should work
