Kinect tracking issues

Hi,

whenever I start a kinect game, I immediately get to the tracking and calibrating page for the kinect, although I use my kinect now since years. Nevertheless I did all the tracking and calibrating again. But this isn't the solution. I always get to this
page the and even cannot leave this page. It automatically reopens this page.

As for the light on the kinect: it's green, no blinking, just constant green. I also installed the latest update on my xbox 360.

I would really appreciate any help.

Advice needed: drills not getting picked up

Recalibrationg Kinect usually solves tracking issues for me. You can do that in Xbox Settings -> Kinect -> I have moved my Kinect sensor.

It may be worth a shot at clearing the system cache to see if that helps any.

Try clearing the cache a few times, restart the xbox and see if you still get the issue please.

Should that not work try removing the system update and then update again.

Go to settings/ system/ storage, highlight your storage device and press the following buttons in sequence on the controller LB RB X LB RB X, select yes to remove the system update, the xbox will restart and update again.

 

Still the same situation. I've cleared the cache several times, removed the system update, downloaded and installed afterwards the update again -> now stil the tracking and calibration screen comes immediately when starting the game.

 

If you go to settings, system, storage, select your storage device and go into System Items, delete the Microphone array calibration data file, restart the xbox and calibrate the Kinect again do you still get this issue ?

 

I did what you said, but still the same issue

 

It could be an issue with communicating between the console and the sensor. Try turning the console off, then unplug the sensor from it's usb port. Turn the console on and once it has restarted you can plug the sensor in again.

See if that solves the problem.

If you have an FAT console then is the sensor plugged into a wall outlet or a power bar? If power bar then plug it directly to a wall outlet.

 

Hi all, i have a problem with my Xbox 360 Kinect, because my Kinect is not working. It isn't hear or see me and there's a red lamp on the Kinect.

What should i do? Can anybody help me? Please write a message. Thank you so much!

 

I re-plugged in my kinect and made sure it sits right, so that it has enough room to move in all directions, then it worked again; thanks everybody for your answers

 

Thanks for at least letting everyone know how you fixed this, I'll certainly bear this in mind next time I see someone with this problem.
