    Kinect taking graphics processing away from Xbox One.


    I know Kinect right takes 10% of the GPU right now and its being addressed in a future patch to use less power, 2%. However, can we have the option for kinect to use no extra processing power because this is getting in the way of game performance. If I
    knew I could get cleaner frame rates by removing the kinect or having the option to completely shut off, so games can use more of the GPU I would do it. All this loss is not good.

    2% in the next patch is nice but we need more.

    Regarding the NeXtbox, Durango, Xbox 720, Infinite, whatever.

    there was a comment in regards of the next Xbox that it may ship with two graphics chips inside. if so that would blow me away to heaven.

    @bst, I don't think anyone is saying kinect is a super computer, but if the kinect does process the information, no matter how little it is taking stress away from the main system, then if it also processes the other stuff as well, then the kinect makes
    even more sense.

    Can you do it another way, of course, but it does look as though MS are looking long term.

    An SoC means single chip that does everything, ie, no there will not be multiple GPU's (as in dual graphics cards ala PC) on the Xbox 3.

    well no as it took precious processing power away from .xbox one consoles and support for.it was non existent

    You only have existing support via pc by hobbyists really

    The last game was Disney starwars yoda not many games came out for it even during Kinect ones prime mostly xbox first party games

    Kinect 360 had a bigger following
