Kinect Support for XBox One X

They discontinued the Kinect and no longer are selling them or supporting them. XBOX ONE X is a hardcore gaming console and not for Kinect activities.

There is zero chance the Series X will support either the Kinect from the Xbox One or the 360.

The reason for this is that Microsoft stopped making the Xbox One X adapter cable that allowed it to work with the Xbox One Kinect, this shows they have little to no interest in supporting in the future.

I mean lets put it bluntly, the Kinect hindered the initial sale figures of the Xbox One, Microsoft spent too much money developing it which should have been spent on making the Xbox One more powerful than it was. Plus back in 2013 people were very hesitant
of having camera/microphones "listening in" on all your conversations.

Mark my word, the Xbox Series X will not support Kinect.

The Kinect sensor and adapter are discontinued. If you want to use an Xbox One Kinect sensor with an Xbox One S or X you're going to have to buy one if you can find one.

the xbox one s and the xbox one x need an adapter to make it usb and that also comes with its own power supply.

the xbox series s and x don't support kinect.

Question should I just unhook my kinect....it dont even light up even though it is getting power
